Gîte "le grand bois" (6 people maximum) adjoining the gite "le petit bois" and the owner's house.
Cottage located in a very quiet hamlet in the town of Helfaut, 3 km from the A26 motorway, 7 km from Saint-Omer (its lively town center, its cathedral, the Audomarois Marsh listed by UNESCO, the house of the Marais, the dome of Helfaut at 3 km (war museum 39/45), the forest of Clairmarais.

We look forward to welcoming you to this brand new, fully equipped gîte and advising you on the many activities and good addresses possible.
Mountain bikes for adults and children are available and many hikes are possible from the cottage.
WIFI, private parking and enclosed grounds, garden with games for children, garden furniture, barbecue.

Rural house of 90 m², adjoining the cottage "le petit bois" and the owner's house, new and completely renovated, private parking, enclosed grounds, large shared garden with access to outdoor games (small wooden house, slide, swing) , garden furniture, barbecue.
It consists :
on the ground floor: a large entrance hall with separate wc, a fully equipped kitchen living room (induction hob, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher), in the lounge area 2 large sofas and an armchair, TV flat screen satellite decoder with foreign channels, 2 double bedrooms (140x190), a bathroom with double sink, 70x110 shower and washing machine.
Upstairs: a bedroom with 2 twin 80x200 beds.

Deposit 200 € to be paid on site.
Animal not allowed because authorized in the adjoining gîte "le petit bois".

Heating and electricity included up to
24 kwh / day: the excess will be invoiced.

weekend off season: Friday 5 p.m. to Sunday 11 a.m. (or Saturday 3 p.m. to Monday 10 a.m.)

Maximum 4 people for companies in 4 different beds.

Great for families
This is a wonderful living space, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The host was very helpful. For big family gatherings you can book the gite right next door. It has less living space but more than one bathroom.

Fantastic property!
We stayed here for a long weekend to visit the Blockhaus at Eperleques and La Coupole Museum, the property was amazing, lovely and clean, nicely furnished and Stan was a lovely host. I would definitely recommend and we will return as there is so much to do in the area.

Een heerlijk huis met tuin en zeer aardige behulpzame eigenaar
Een groot huis met goed uitgeruste keuken. Een heerlijke tuin met veel speelgoed voor kinderen. Er zijn heel veel leuke dingen te doen in de omgeving en de kust is 45 min rijden. Heerlijk en absolute aanrader!

Zeker een aanrader als je de buurt van St-Omer wilt verkennen. Ook niet ver gelegen van oa Boulogne-Sur-Mer en zeer vlotte baan om tot bij de kust te geraken. Uitbater is gastvrij en steeds behulpzaam bij eventueel probleem. Enig minpuntje is misschien de donkerte binnen in (weinig ramen) maar palletkachel geeft zeker een aangenaam gevoel in de wintermaanden. Adresje om te bewaren dus

Le séjour a été très agréable, dans un cadre verdoyant et fleuri. Mon appréciation générale est très favorable, je mets néanmoins un bémol en ce qui concerne l'accès à l'étage qui dessert la chambre (celle qui à vocation à accueillir des enfants puisqu'équipée de deux lits séparés) : l'escalier est étroit et très raide, la rampe d'accès peu sécurisante. Egalement bon à savoir, le bruit de l'autoroute qui passe à proximité est plus ou moins perceptible selon le sens du vent.

Superbe gite, permettant de nombreuses découvertes de la région
L'accueil du propriétaire a été très chaleureux et il nous a fourni de nombreux conseils. Pendant le séjour, il s'est assuré que tout allait bien et nous le remercions beaucoup pour son attention. Le gite est très bien équipé et l'espace à vivre est très agréable. La localisation du gite nous a permis de découvrir entre autres, Lille, le bassin minier, Dunkerque, Calais et la cote d'Opale.

Très bien
Gîte très sympa 👍, le seul petit reproche que j'aurai à faire est qu'il manque de luminosité. Le jardin partagé avec toboggan, trampoline, chalet pour enfants top 👍 Portail avant d'accéder à la route donc bien quand on a des enfants 😊. Les petites attentions du propriétaire sont appréciables. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.
