I liked that it was a relatively reasonably priced room and it provided everything I needed. I had heard it was a very old run down hotel so expected the worst but I believe Wyndham has done a nice job making it nice with the amenities you would expect.

Great classic hotel located near to some well known attractions. Staff were really helpful, rooms are smaller than you would expect in the US and the beds normal doubles. Had a great view of the Empire State Building. Great to have the Tick Tock restaurant there for breakfast with their friendly staff.

The New Yorker has it all! Location is ideal right across from Penn Station & MSG. Safe, festively decorated hotel offers all services and has a 24 hr “Tick Tock” diner attached along with a unique steakhouse located in the bank vault downstairs! (Butcher & Banker) we’ve stayed here 5 times and would totally recommend it.
