Carried Away is a newly remodeled 9-bedroom main lake cove home with 7000sqft of living space and long gorgeous main lake sunset views. The home has a amazing private setting and beautiful flat lawn that extends to the shoreline of Lake Gaston. Come Experience Lake Living at its finest at "Carried Away."
The main level of Carried Away features a gorgeous open floor plan with tremendous lake views and a layout that makes entertaining large groups a breeze! The kitchen is equipped with two full size refrigerators, two dishwashers, a double oven with stovetop and top-quality cook and dishware! In addition, there is plenty of seating for everyone, five barstools on the kitchen island, five seats around the adjacent kitchen table, fifteen chairs on the adjacent dining table or walk out on the deck and sit around the two large, shaded tables!
Relax on the main floor in the living room on the luxurious leather couches next to the gas fireplace and 65" HD TV or in the adjacent sunroom with windows from floor to ceiling facing the lake!
The main level features a master bedroom (HD TV) with ensuite full bathroom and walk in closet and amazing views! There is an additional four bedrooms and three full bathrooms on this level, (3 King beds and 2 Queen beds).
The entertainment space does not end here, make your way to the walk out basement and enjoy more amazing views of Lake Gaston! The walkout basement features a huge entertaining space with a second living area (HD 65" TV), giant wet bar, wine cooler and mini refrigerator, pool table, arcade games and more!
Slip out on the basement patio for a great shaded area to relax or take a soak in the new hot tub while taking in the fresh air and lake views!
The basement level has four additional bedrooms with three king beds and one queen bed. In addition, there are two full bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower/tub combination.
The loft can be accessed from the main level of the house and offers some of the best views of Lake Gaston! In addition, find a tenth room (bedroom) with a queen bed on this level.
Now the reason we are all here, take a walk to the shoreline and the brand-new boathouse! The boathouse features a large upper and lower deck with six lounge chairs on the top deck, four lounge chairs on the lower deck. An amazing, shaded bar area with additional 5 barstools, four polywood chairs and HD Dish television for all your entertaining needs. There is a single boat slip and room on either side of the dock for tying down additional boats. The water depth is about 6ft at the back of the dock, plenty of depth to accommodate most boats.
When your done at the boathouse, stop at the lake side firepit and enjoy some amazing sunsets by the waters edge!

Amazing place!
This was the perfect place for our family - all 20 of us! It had everything we could need and want. The large dining table was a great fit along with all the outside dining upstairs and down. Our family especially loved the two game rooms and spent a lot of time there. The outside fire pit was wonderful in the evenings, and the boat, kayaks and paddle boards were fun for all. They were super responsive for any questions or concerns, and showed up to give us boat instructions right away when we arrived. Great service all around! Highly recommend this location, house and property manager!

Family Vacation
Absolutely perfect accommodations! Spacious and spotless home, primo boat dock and cozy fire pit! Enjoyed every moment of our stay. The water by the dock is shallow enough for the young ones to play and have fun! The kayaks and paddle boards served the teenagers and even a couple of us older folks with hours of relaxing exercise. The pontoon boat looked and operated as if it just came off of the sales lot!
The property owner/manager and his staff are second to none! Professional, courteous and kind! They made the stay even more enjoyable! We will certainly be looking at a return trip! Well Done!

40th birthday get together
We had 15 of our closest friends come together to celebrate a 40th birthday. The house was perfection -clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, gorgeous view, amazing property, amenities galore, lawn for all the yard games, easy check-in/check-out, plenty of parking. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Will stay here again and will recommend to anyone!

Spacious, functional, equipped, comfortable, clean, something for everyone ... Hands down, this was one of the best vacation homes we stayed at.
Comfy beds and linens, super functional kitchen, great internet / TVs, awesome grassy lawn / lake access for play, spectacular dinner table that comfortably seats 14, fun hot tub / pool table / games for fun ...

This property was really nice, only things I can complain about what the water pressure is pretty bad, we had 20 people in the house and only one person could shower at a time, my 2 yr old got althetes foot for being barefoot (inside), they say u can use the grill but u have to fill the propane tank yourself, they have a fire pit outside but u have to get ur own fire wood, ($75 for them to bring it) for the price to stay there you would imagine these things would be included. We had the hot tub company come out in the middle of our stay to drain and clean the hot tub, which should be something done before we come or after guests leave. These are our complaints as a group, the house was clean and pretty spacious, was a nice week away with family.

Thanksgiving stay
Our family gathered at this lovely home to celebrate Thanksgiving and our parents’ 60 th anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate! We had plenty of room to spread out or to find a quiet place to be alone. We ate several meals all together at the massive dining table- seats 14!!
The sunsets were something to look forward to every evening and especially enjoyed down by the fire pit. We can only imagine how fun Carried Away would be in the summer! We hope to be back- thank you for a wonderful place to gather with our people.

Beautiful home on great lake.
This house was newly remodeled and it was beautiful. We had family from NY, PA, CT, SC and CA. Tons of room for everyone with lots to do - including ping pong, pool table, video games, hot tub, kayak and paddle board. We rented the pontoon boat and had lots of fun pulling a tube for the first time. We also loved the fire pit and fishing from the dock. The house had tons of dishes/silverware/cooking supplies all nicely labeled. Ice machines in the garage and lower level as well as double refrigerators, dishwashers, and washing machines were very convenient for such a large house and many guests. We would definitely return to this house.

Best View on Lake Gaston! Private & Serene! Highly Recommend
Our family and kids have decided this was our favorite family getaway trip! There is something here for everyone all ages! The views at this property are unlike any we have stayed at, the sunsets are breathtaking! The flat lawn made it so easy for everyone to walk to the water. The new owners of this property are really going all out with all new furnishings and a lot of updates. We look forward to coming back this Summer! Thank you.
