Another wonderful trip
Nancy is a kind owner that communicates well and when needed. The home is extremely well kept, and stocked. The cleaners do an amazing job, and everything is fresh and new when you arrive. The property is beautiful and we spent hours exploring the trails and sitting by the creek.

Great place to relax
Great base camp for hiking waterfalls trails and fishing in the area . Very private property . The kitchen was fully stocked for what we needed. There was a nice gravel walkway down to the creek with solar lights for the way back in the dark . You can hear the water flowing as soon as you get out of the car . We would love to stay here again . Owner called on check in day to make sure we had everything we needed . We visited places we had never been and made great memories !

Private creekside setting
Wonderful creekside cabin with multiple porches! The outdoor space next to the creek was a great space to relax. Inside the cabin had everything you would need to cook a meal , hang out or watch TV. Creek was much closer to the cabin than pictures show and it's noise could be heard throughout the home. Would definitely recommend to others and I would stay again!

Peaceful and quant
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. This was such a peaceful piece of property! Just what we needed! Love the porches with the creek “music” right below. Loved the fact that there was a winery with live music less than a mile away from the house. We loved our time spent here. Hated when it was time for us to leave.

Wonderful cabin
The cabin was clean and hidden in the perfect spot. The creek behind the house was so nice to hear. The path down to the creek was lit so at night you could sit by the water on the Adirondack chairs or the swing around the fire pit. Cannot wait to go back and stay again.

Peaceful, excellent location
We just loved our stay here! The location was great, secluded but not far from town. We absolutely loved playing in the creek and the canopy of the trees. Great place for the kids, as they loved playing in the creek and having the ‘game room’ to themselves to hangout. Owner was very nice and responsive, would definitely stay here again!

Home Sweet Home
It was amazing. We didn’t want to leave!!! It’s in the perfect spot. You’ve got a beautiful path to a perfect size creek for the kids to play in. We spent 2 days doing this and roasting s’mores around the fire. The house has an “at home feeling”. We kept the door open in the master bedroom to hear the creek running. It’s very peaceful. No traffic. The game room is great. At nights we hung out in there and played cards.

Excellent Property
This property is exactly as listed. The cabin was great for our group of 7. There was plenty of room in the master for an air mattress for our toddlers. The path down to the creek was great for us. There are hiking sticks by the steps for those who may need a little assistance coming back up the hill. My kids loved playing in the creek; there are few 'deeper' spots that my 3 yr old could wade through. On our first night, we saw a bear at a house down the road (they didn't have their trash secured). Our first morning, a couple of the farmer's cows got out, but the owner was quick to notify him and he began fixing the fence later that morning. The cabin is in a great location; a few minutes to Hiawassee for groceries and restaurants. It's only about 30 min from Brasstown Bald and Alexander's. We went trout fishing on the Tallulah River hiked High Shoals Falls (fyi- it's a 1.3 mile hike), and did a tasting at Hightower Creek Winery.

Beautiful
We truly enjoyed our stay. The pictures don’t fully convey how beautiful the surroundings are. There are many different outdoor seating areas with views of the surrounding trees and creek as well as a screened deck upstairs for buggy evenings. The kids loved frolicking in the creek throughout the day and would race down the forest path to hop into the water as soon as we returned from our outings. We hiked the trail to cowart gap a couple times and saw turkey and a bear. There were also plenty of spots for the kids to dip their toes in the creek along the way. The house is the last house on the road which kept it quiet with almost no other traffic coming by. We met the neighbor who was very kind, showing the kids his pig and chatting about his animals and family. It was the perfect secluded getaway for a family. We did not have cell service which was a nice way to unplug and wifi worked great if/when needed. The house was clean and comfortable. There were many many comfortable places to sit and relax both inside and outside. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we could need. Lots of books, games, and puzzles tucked away in various books and drawers throughout the house for guests to enjoy as well. We plan to return sometime soon.
