Awesome view! One of the best mountain and lake views in Hiawassee Georgia. The Perch (362677) is a secluded log home at a dead end street, paved all the way. Relax on a wrap around porch in one of the several rocking chairs with ONE OF THE BEST VIEWS of Lake Chatuge, mountains of Brasstown Bald (tallest point in Ga.) and sunset views, the pictures don't do the view justice! Enjoy a meal on picnic table on the porch or have a cozy fire in the outdoor fire-pit. All the comforts of home with a fully furnished log home that has linens, flat screen cable TV and wireless internet. The 3 bedroom home has one bedroom with a king-size bed with a twin day bed in one bedroom, second bedroom has a queen bed the 3rd room has a queen. Downstairs in the living area there is a twin day bed, TV with sofas. A king-size bedroom with a twin bed and an additional full bathroom is also downstairs. Enjoy a wood fireplace on the main level with a separate living area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. This home, just 2 miles to town, has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave and ceiling fans. CABLE TV with an expanded SPORTS CHANNELS. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet in the beautiful North Georgia mountains.

Amazing view! Perfect family getaway.
We loved our stay at The Perch. The view is amazing. It was our family vacation and there is plenty to do! Saw other reviews about the drive up the mountain, but it’s fine, just remember you’re in the mountains it’s going to be steep. We drove up in a Traverse with no issues at all. The cabin was clean, stocked with everything you’re going to need. We shopped at Ingles after arriving and the host has the advantage card on the keychain - so you can get all the savings! The tall rockers on the deck are amazing! Genius! We had adult kids, a preteen and our dog with us and had plenty of room. Must sees: Bell Mountain, Brasstown Bald, Anna Ruby Falls. We enjoyed grilling each night and having a fire in the fire-pit for s’mores. You won’t regret booking this one!

Awesome rustic style cabin with one of the best mountain veiws in the Appalachians. Home was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing three day weekend. Host was pleasant and helpful while still respectful of our privacy

Fall break
Just what we needed for a great weekend. The view was wonderful, the place was clean, and the area was quiet. And did I mention the view? Great time of year as the leaves are starting to change colors. I wish we did not have to leave to get back to work, we could have used one more day on the porch! Highly recommend.

This property is everything you could hope for. The views were amazing! You had the lake below and the cascading mountains behind. The back porch is a must for a peaceful, relaxing morning. The house is positioned at the perfect angle for privacy from other homes.

View is everything!
this was a great place to stay - my daughter and husband rented a cabin right next door by same owners - very convenient! furniture in our house could use some updating, but very comfortable. would recommend as a nice get away - close to Lake Chatuge, Brasstown Bald (a must do) and many hiking trails and waterfalls - liked the Abide coffee shop and the close by Ingles grocery store. Tilted cafe has great food too.

The great view
This is a great cabin that was exactly as stated in the description. The view from the deck is wonderful. The best with a cup of morning coffee. Only negative is that the parking and room for a vehicle to turn around is very limited.

Hiawassee trip to see Gary Allen in concert.
If you are planning a trip to Hiawassee this is a very nice place to stay. We had 5 adults in our party and there was plenty of room. Cabin has everything you need as far as utensils and toiletries. Very clean.
