You will LOVE our rustic cabin nestled on 5 acres in the trees! Cabin sits back over a private bridge alongside a wide constantly flowing creek that is so relaxing to sit out and enjoy. The cabin is towards the end of the neighborhood road a few houses before the forestry starts.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms with 1 king & 3 queen size beds. Covered porches with rocking chairs & plenty of seating plus outdoor propane gas grill. Master bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking the creek. Upstairs has 2 arcade games & sitting area. Walkable bridge to outdoor firepit.
The cabin has been updated with new roof, blue spruce shiplap upstairs, exterior stain, new central heat/ac & a gas fireplace. Kitchen has been remodeled and has Subzero fridge & Wolf 6 burner gas stove.
Bedrooms are all upstairs along with half bath
10ft custom indoor dining table along with outdoor dining. No 4x4 needed to get to the cabin. It is along a paved road and easy to get to.
Set in the Appalachian Mountains, the town of Hiawassee was originally inhabited by Cherokee tribes. It is located near the Appalachian and Southern Highroads trails.
Lake Chatuge is another beloved landmark with countless recreation opportunities, along with the trout fishing favorite, the Hiawassee River.
Nearby, you can also indulge in some of the state’s best wineries and, come fall, see the changing color of the leaves.
Hiawassee is an Appalachian Trail community. The Southern Highroads Trail passes through Hiawassee and alongside Lake Chatuge, popular for swimming, boating, jet skiing, paddling, sport fishing, and other water sports.
There are several entrances to the Appalachian Trail at various locations in the area.
The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds hosts the Georgia Mountain Fair each summer. The Anderson Music Hall at the fairgrounds hosts great shows with top name stars each year.
Hamilton Gardens at Lake Chatuge, bursts into bloom early April to late May and can almost take your breath away at the sight of more than 3,000 azaleas and rhododendrons.
