Hotel is well situated for a stay in the City. The bedrooms are a bit dated ie dark furniture. Staff are efficient and helpful. On site parking is a bonus but expensive at £11 per day.

I loved everything about the hotel, and now we are home really missing it! Lovely hotel in great location, fabulous staff, rooms, food, drinks. I'd really recommend the hotel for anyone having a break in Durham.

This is an exceptional hotel in every department. Everything works well, breakfast was very good, staffs were helpful and polite, the hotel is conveniently located, had a brilliant sleep and our room was big and spacious, and not to mention the fact the the entire place was really clean throughout.
