Melina Hotel is a fantastic place to stay for anyone visiting Higüey. I highly recommend it! The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff was wonderful. The dinner options were both delicious and reasonably priced. Although I had a minor issue with the TV remote not working, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Another bonus is the adjacent dental clinic with great doctors who are very professional—I visited and was truly impressed!

Definitely recommend 100%. My experience was Excellent. If you looking for nice high end hotel to stay this one is perfect. Very nice, clean, fancy and location is near everything. Stay in Higuey.
The shower in my bathroom didn't work which was a drag. Also, a guy with a bullhorn planted himself at their front door and was going off about something all morning. Very annoying. The staff were nice. The breakfast was not very good. Decent facility, but not enough to make up for the problems.
