I stay here every year for one night while in the area for camp pickup. This year the room was very dirty. To the point I found myself trying to not touch anything at all. Very disappointed. Holiday Inn Express is usually a safe bet as far as being clean and safe. In a town where there aren’t any “nicer” hotels I thought myself lucky to have this one to fall back on. Not now. Next year I’ll stay in Fredericksburg and drive the extra 45 minutes.

They are doing construction. The carpets were dirty with Sheetrock dust on the carpets. The bathroom wall paper was pealing, cracks in walls and a dirty bathtub. We love Holiday Inn Express and won’t allow this one experience to taint our love for the chain but this place needs a lot of work. It’s time for an upgrade. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was as it always is - terrific.

Great place to stay!!
We traveled to Kerrville to attend the River Festival and stayed here! After a busy day we came back to a very clean and comfortable room. Our room was all we could ask and folks working there were helpful and courteous. Definitely would stay again!!

The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. I would pay money for that. Staff super friendly, got our room cleaned early for us and let my kids swim in pool before room was even ready.
