Spring is here! Enjoy it with a relaxing stay in this 3 bedroom 2 bath house that sits across the road from the New River just 2 miles from Historic downtown Hinton, WV.
If you have come to town to enjoy water/outdoor activities….there are two public River accesses just a half of a mile in either direction, Pipestem State Park is approximately 15 miles away, several kayak/raft rentals approximately 3 miles away, Sandstone falls just 6 miles away, and several hiking trails all around.
If you have come to town to relax and enjoy the scenery…..this house has everything you need for your time in the New River Gorge National Park area while listening to the sounds of the River. We have a large front yard with yard games provided, a covered front porch, a fire pit, and a picnic table for you to enjoy with 2 gravel parking areas on site.

Girls National Park Trip
This property and location were perfect for our girls trip to New River National Park! The house was clean and comfortable for everyone! Restaurants and stores are close by. The park is beautiful and rafting was so much fun!

Country Roads Take Me Home
I completed my MBA, became a grandmother and wanted to celebrate in my home state at the fair. Originally from WV I now reside in coastal NC and usually vacation in the mountains. This was a wonderful venue!! Exceptionally clean, great location (he loved jumping the rail to fish off the rocks) and so peaceful. It was great to come home! Thank you for the hospitality!!

Neat and convenient place
Four of our family stayed here. It is very convenient and on the riverfront. The house is nice and the owners have put a nice set of touches in labelling the cupboards, and keeping the home well stocked. While not luxurious, the house was comfortable and cozy and very convenient for the various places we had to visit in the New River Gorge Park. Thank you.

The location of the property is perfect for those wanting to explore the national parks and state parks and close to towns with a lot of dining options. The property was clean and perfect for a family of six. Would definitely recommend for anyone seeking a stay in this area.

A Great Place on the River
This property was a great place to stay to enjoy the beauty of New River Gorge. The property was very clean and had a lot of little touches that made it a great place to stay. I think there was a glitch in the website that advertised more beds than there actually were, but it did not affect the enjoyment of our stay.

Great place!
Our trip was not one we would normally take and the people we were supposed to meet there had to cancel due to a family emergency. Despite all of that, the place was beautiful and Megan was so helpful in finding things for us to do. We had a wonderful time and if this property were closer to us, we would definitely go back!

The property was well furnished and exceptionally clean. There was an excellent spot to fish just across from the property. Proximity to Sandstone Falls was excellent . Great location for thosewho want to fish or sight see. The property manager was very flexible and professional. I would highly recommend this property for a vacation on the New River.

The owners we're Great at answering any questions we had quickly , I had mentioned this was a Valentine's Day getaway and she left us a heart container with candies .. The home and property are beautiful and was exceptional clean .. Right at the river and you could hear the River at night .. So peaceful and relaxing . Loved our stay .. Would highly recommend and we definitely will rent again .. 😀

This place was wonderful! For a very modest price, I, my son, and two of my brothers and my sister-in-law were able to stay in Hinton for the Railroad Days festival, and to do a little genealogy research. The property was very clean and well kept-up, it was easy to reach, but off the beaten path, and the sound of teh New River and the occasional train made easy and restful background sounds. The no-contact check-in was easy, although I wish I could have met the owner and told her in person what a delightful place this is. I'm definitely going to try to get back some time soon.

Very Clean and Organized
Location was convenient and parking was easy. We were mostly impressed with the cleanliness of the house. The property owner/manager is clearly a meticulous person. Commonly forgotten items were also available in the bathrooms so that was a pleasant surprise. Coffee was provided and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils. We will definitely stay here again next time we need a place in/near Hinton.

The house was absolutely wonderful! Sit on porch and enjoy the sound of the River, munch on snacks left by the host, or play some games. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive to our questions as well. Highly recommend!
