It is close to Tram station and Bus Terminal. The restaraunts are on the same street. Most of the malls are within walking distance. This makes it so easy when travelling.

Tidy little hotel right near the action!
An older hotel but the staff were exceptionally friendly (as usual in Japan). Complimentary teas and powdered milk in reception. The room was on the small side but it was clean and comfortable. Well situated. About a 5 minute walk and you're right in restaurant and shopping district

It's really a business hotel that receives few foreigners but they managed enough English to deal with everything we wanted and were very friendly. Rooms average size for Japan. Facilities everything you would expect from a big chain. Very good location, halfway between the station and the Peace Park (about 20 minutes on foot), and very close to the shopping and restaurant and bar district.

A decent hotel
This hotel is much nicer than the picture on this site would lead you to believe. I wouldn't say it was amazing but it was definitely a decent hotel with good facilities. The staff were really great at this hotel and were very capable with Google translate! We unfortunately booked a smoking room despite being non-smokers and it really smelt bad. However, after explaining the situation to the staff, they gave us a new room that smelt much better and was also bigger. This was excellent customer service and we appreciated it so much, especially as it was our mistake to book a smoking room! We were very thankful for this and it definitely improved our stay. Thanks :) Overall very happy with our stay.

Good hotel value for money
The hotel was very nice.i stayed 2 nights and slept well.nice clean rooms. Easy walk from the station.Not far to the dome and castle.near a tram stop if needed. I would say I would definitely stay there again. Only down side I paid for the breakfast in the morning.i didn't think it was good but not that bad. I would eat out .

Good location, no-fuss hotel with good service.
Located in an area of town that was a short walk from the street car stop and the main shopping area, which was convenient. Hotel was pretty basic, but everything worked and was in fine condition. We only booked a small room, so expectations were grounded. Very grateful to the hotel staff, though; my mum left her watch in the room after we checked and boarded a shinkansen. Was able to get in touch with the hotel, they found the watch and immediately sent it to my office in Tokyo. Thanks for your great service.

Good hotel and excellent staff
I enjoyed staying at the Via Inn Hiroshima. We were there four tourism, and the hotel was a good home base for my family. It's a little walk to the main sights (Peace Park, Hiroshima Castle), but easily walkable in about 20 minutes, and the walk is very pleasant since most is through a very active pedestrian shopping arcade. Plus, the tram can take you there just two blocks away. There are a lot of great restaurants within a couple blocks. The staff was so courteous and so responsive! Just great, as was the breakfast! The rooms are definitely quite compact by U.S. standards, so that's the main thing to be aware of. However, they were quiet and comfortable, and we got a good night sleep.

Cheap and very well located
It is 5 or 6 blocks away of ground zero, so you can get there by walking, despite what any Japanese would say, ITS WALKABLE!! Also, several convenience stores are around the hotel, so if you are traveling on a budget, you will love this place. The staff was very very helpful and helped us to book the ferry from Fukuoka to Busan.
