A unique and secluded location set in private reserve; with added advantage of having hosts nearby for attention and customer service. We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

The property really is in the wilderness and a little tricky to find (at night with not much help from Google maps), but Annie and John were on the phone to us giving step-by-step instructions how to find it! What an amazing service! Once we got there we had the warmest welcome ever! The fire pit had been lit especially ā€œjust in case we wanted to sit outsideā€ and Annie couldnā€™t have been more helpful and friendly! The apparment exceeded all expectations in size, cleanliness and amenities!! Every detail was perfect - down to rolled flannels to dry hands in both en-suite bathrooms, high quality shower products, great bed linen and wonderfully comfortable beds. This is a self-catering property and the kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you could need! DO make sure you bring your food for breakfast and supper with you though as there really is not a shop anywhere close nearby!! There is nothing negative I could possibly say about the property or the warm and friendly welcome we got from Annie and her family. I thoroughly look forward to my next trip to SA and being able to stay at Kingfisher Creek again, and maybe also experience the new accommodations they are building away from the others! Five star rating all the way!!

Super herzlicher Empfang durch Annie. Obwohl kein vegetarisches Essen vorbestellt war, wurde ganz spontan ein sehr leckeres Gericht fĆ¼r meine Tochter und mich gezaubert. Service total nett. Unser Familienzelt war riesig und toll eingerichtet. Mit Outdoor Dusche! WĆ¼rde jederzeit wieder hinfahren! Wegweiser / Beschilderung an der HauptstraƟe fehlen. Einzigstes Manko

We stayed at the cottage and it was absolutely stunning. Plenty of room. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The garden was amazing with our own outdoor fireplace. Even during loadshedding there was still light, water and wifi šŸ˜‰. And every day we could play with the dogs. The food was really amazing. The chef makes delicious dishes. Host Annie is also the best, she knows what her guests like. You can ask her anything, nothing is impossible. We would definitely go back!
