Rustic retreat center to make Flam ferry.
This is a rather rustic retreat center, up on a pass on the road between Oslo and Flam. We chose it because it is within range of catching the first ferry in Flam, and it worked quite well for that. The breakfast was solid. The people running the establishment are very nice, and offered some waffles as there was no where nearby to catch dinner at the time of night we got it. Nice drive to and from the location.

Bygget er stort og slitt, og eies av Visjon Norge. Drives av frivillige og hyggelige pensjonister som jobber gratis. Visjon Norge er en organisasjon som stĆøtter Israel og utnytter mange sĆ„rbare mennesker. Flagg av Israel flere steder ga oss et sterkt ubehag, og en fĆølelse av og ha blitt lurt til og stĆøtte noe man tar helt avstand fra. Man mĆ„ ta pĆ„ sengetĆøy selv, og alt er av svƦrt enkel standard.

A lovely and peaceful location. The staff were incredibly hospitable. While the room is basic and shows its age, it was perfectly adequate for the nightly rate. Lot of space to park the car.
