Nicest location in town! Beautiful historic Italianate home built in 1868. The Pond Winslow homestead has been awarded the prestigious Heritage Preservation award for Honor and Respect by the Saugatuck Douglas Historical Society. Located on the hill over looking the town square. The home has been beautifully updated, including kitchen, newly remodeled bathrooms and restored old growth hardwood flooring through out. First floor includes, dine in kitchen with laundry, living room, dining room, half bath, bed room (queen bed) with en-suite full bath, and glassed/screened in porch. Second floor has master bedroom (queen bed) with private sun porch, 3rd bedroom handcrafted bunk-bed (full on bottom, single on top) and full bath. Kitchen is fully out fitted Keurig pod or drip coffee (get some fresh roasted beans from Uncommon Grounds, just two blocks) - just bring your favorite food and beverages. Bedrooms and baths are complete with linens. Beautiful flag stone patio with large built in fire pit, lots of grilling accessories. 'Up North' feel in town! In laws want to come too? Ask about the additional cottage with room for two!


Quiet, peaceful location surrounded by mature trees and tranquil gardens, yet just a few steps from the thriving downtown with all of its associated activities: Shops, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Bars and Coffee shops. The stay was really nice. Loved the cute cottage that was semi-attChed to the main house. The home was much older than I had anticipated but quiant. The floors squeaked quite a bit so woke up others when getting up to use the bathroom or getting up earlier than others.

The house had a lot of charm, loved the squeaky floors and we had a blast of the Moose Rocker, especially trying to get my 87 year old Mom off of because her daughters were laughing too hard. Absolutely lovely stay
This house was fantastic and everything was as-promised. The historic house is well-kept, the yard and firepit absolute perfection, and it was great for two couples and kids. My only small issue was the light coming in in the morning in the upstairs rooms - the house faces east and the blinds provide privacy but no darkening. Curtains would be really nice. The kitchen had literally everything we could ask for, and the firepit and grill had tons of tools (kept in the old outhouse lol.) Good communication with owner. Note, though, if you are coming from another time zone, VRBO might have the wrong check out time, the correct one is posted inside the door (10am).
