One of our favorite stays in Iceland! We arrived pretty late into the night but there was no hassle checking in. Room was clean, bed was comfy! Take advantage of the hot tub, it was a treat soaking under the northern lights. To top it all off, a delicious complimentary breakfast buffet.

This is an extraordinary, small, fantastic place in the middle of nowhere, in one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine. Very personal service, warm, friendly. If you value quiet isolation in a spectacular Icelandic fjord, this is the place for you. Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful place!
This family owned inn is great. You feel like home. Breakfast is very good, the room is super clean and comfortable. The service is outstanding and they have a hot tub!!! Beautiful landscapes can be seen from the inn. Love it!

Breathtaking location
This inn is located in an absolutely gorgeous area of the Westfjords that will take your breath away. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Room was very nice. The staff were very accommodating to our schedule change and helped make our trip stressfree and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again

A truly gorgeous setting and a marvelous staff make the Holt Inn a must for anyone visiting Westfjords in Iceland. A delightful breakfast starts the day off right, and the outdoor hot tub (with cozy shower and changing room) over looking the fjord provides a great night capā€”even if the sun never sets! If we ever make it back to Iceland, a stop at the Holt Inn will definitely be on our itinerary. Be sure the visit the long wooden pier down the road for a wonderful beach experience.

A hot tub with a mountain view, a delicious breakfast, beautiful grounds and convenient check-in are real bonuses. All was as advertised. Anna was especially accommodating, offering and sharing her homemade cakes and jams at breakfast. Highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

This Inn was a little heaven in the middle of nowhere. The owner is a beautiful soul, who really helped us (when we had our car stuck in the snow and she got us someone to help us take it out) she really did her best šŸ™ Beautiful room, modern, and very comfortable. Breakfast was great as well. Would def book again here. Thankyou for hosting us.

We picked this property as I had read in other reviews that the scenery was better than in Isafjordur. It was stunning, mountai s all the way around. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but adequate and clean. Cindy the hotess was exceptionally kind and helpful. We were offered a lamb dinner for a fee. It was outstanding. I think we were offered this, as they had a bus tour group staying that night.

I had a lovely three night stay here and enjoyed it very much. The setting is beautiful, and very peaceful. The old school house has a lot of character and charm, and the hot pot was a great spot to relax at the end of the day. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I had a double economy room and it was perfect for me, but if there were two people plus luggage it might be a bit crowded for some so just keep that in mind (not a complaint at all, just information) It was a highlight of my trip to stay here.
