I didn’t expect the room to have two double beds in it. I don’t think I specified when I booked it nor do I remember requesting it to be a handicap shower…that is what we were given. It was fine, we made do.

The staff is great, room was large and clean but it is next to PDX airport and the roar of airplane engines taking off is incredibly loud and made sleeping nearly impossible. Great place if you have noise canceling headphones.

Our bathroom was covered in whiskers and hair. It was disgusting! The amount of money we paid for a tiny, dirty room was insane. I never write reviews but this place deserved one. They are supposed to refund us but still havent received anything. The only highlight was the airport shuttle was fabulous.

The staff in the bar were great. The lobby was beautiful. Unfortunately we got no sleep last night. The furnace banged all night long. I called the front desk about 3:30 AM and they said they could change rooms but who wants to do that at 3:30 in the morning. They offered no other solutions.

The best place to stay near PDX
As always my favorite place to stay when I am visiting Portland. Wonderful, helpful and efficient staff. Rooms are always spotless and have just the right extra touches. The hospitality nightly is well appointed with great snacks. The true heroes are the van drivers always courteous and safety conscious. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Rooms feel outdated. Last time we stayed at Embassy Suites was probably 15 years ago. Still looks and feels the same. Needs to be modernized.
