Perfect Christmas Getaway
Beautiful little cottage right in Hot Springs. My first love and I wanted somewhere quiet to spend our first Christmas together and this place was perfect! Loved the coffee/tea bar, the bed and pillows were so comfortable (I brought my own pillow because Iā€™m picky about that sort of thing) but I never got it out of our car! Also loved the fact that phone cords were provided! My boyfriend forgot his so that was nice! We really enjoyed the books that were there as well. Found some great stories in them. The hot tub was amazing and super private. Loved the fact we could walk into town and grab food (The grey eagle has amazing taco and burritos) and when everything was closed on Christmas Day the kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to cook! Def recommend this place! Melanie was amazing!!!

well equipped, had everything we needed. Cold and damp when we arrived. House has a musty smell. Could benefit from the attention of a handyman. Front door takes some work to get it securely closed, heating vents are rusty, some are hanging loose. Steps to get into the hot tub. I was unable to get in, if you're 5"4' and a little chonky like me. Owner was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat, things to do in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Trailside Cottage! The AC kept us cool despite unseasonably warm temps outside. I would suggest bringing extra towels if you plan on using the hot tub or hitting some swimming holes. The house was tidy and the bathroom was clean, but there were other details that had likely been overlooked by the cleaners for several weeks. The location is greatā€” not only for walking to town, but just a few minuteā€™s drive away from great hiking and fishing. Would stay here again.

Good location if your just looking to get away from everything and just relax a few things needed to be cleaned but we made we cleaned them I guess the house keeper/cleaning lady was in a hurry or just didnt do a thorough cleaning

This place was incredible! Comfy beds and sofas, plenty of space, kitchen was perfect, hot tub out back, what more could you ask for? Waking distance from beautiful lovers leap and the Appalachian trail.

Close to everything!
Was really looking forward to exploring Hot Springs and all that surrounds. Unfortunately, it was cold and raining during our stay and my husband was a bit under the weather as well. We did appreciate the wifi being stuck indoors. A brief break in the weather allowed us to stroll around town a bit. Breakfast at the diner was nice. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Had everything we needed!!

The property is within walking distance to the quaint little town which includes restaurants, local art, and shopping. The house was clean and well stocked. We've been vacationing in Hot Springs for almost 20yrs and will be back! Some of the best communication I've experienced with a property owner.

Trailside cottage was perfect for relaxing after a few days on trail. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen stocked with all I needed. The town is quiet and the views serene. I'd certainly plan on staying again on my next trip to Hot Springs.

Trailside Christmas
We had a great time in Hot Springs at Trailside. It was Christmas week, and happened to be the coldest week of the year. But that didn't stop us, the house is cute and cozy, I thought the pictures didn't do it justice. Even though it dropped to 5 degrees outside, Melanie got us an extra heater and we were fine. The hot tub was wonderful. We hiked a lot, spent a day in Asheville, did puzzles, played games and watched movies. Melanie was great at communication.

We had a fun time at this very comfortable cottage. Hot Springs is a neat, super friendly town and is an easy walk from the property. The Appalachian Trail is next door. The hot tub looked inviting but we didnā€™t have a chance to enjoy it. Melanie was responsive and helpful. Would def stay again.

Anniversary get away
My husband and I enjoyed our few days away. The hot tub was wonderful and the location was very convenient. We walked out dog to and from the dollar store and enjoyed the view of the October leaves.
