Cozy private getaway located on French Quarter Creek, within the Cooper River Watershed and adjacent to the Francis Marion National Forest. The cabin has been completely remodeled and is approximately 1,000 square feet with 2 bedrooms (1 queen and 4 singles in the bunk room) and 1 bathroom. The living room is loaded with windows and overlooks the backyard and French Quarter Creek. The cabin sits on almost an acre and is very private, being the last house on the road. The huge deck runs the width of the cabin and overlooks the creek. Off the beaten path, but close to everything. 10 minutes from Shipyard Park, 20 minutes from Mt Pleasant, 30 minutes from Daniel Island, and 45 minutes from downtown Charleston.
There is a boat ramp on the property where you can launch your own boat, or paddle one of the kayaks we have on the property. You can fish right from the backyard, enjoy the fire pit and adirondack chairs, or just enjoy the sunset.
French Quarter Creek is fresh water, but tidal with 2 high tides and 2 low tides each day. Although beautiful, this is a blackwater creek with abundant wildlife including Alligators. Swimming is not recommended.
