Toilet in our room didn't have a very good flush on it. We were going to eat in the restaurant, but other family members ate before us and said it was awful and not to eat there. We had to go off site for an evening meal. Only 1 bar tender on on a busy Friday night. Very dated decor

Unimpressed.
I stay away on business a lot and was unimpressed with this hotel. Yesterday was hot a day and shocked to find the rooms have no air conditioning, so I had an unsettled night. The hotel is in need of a reverb. Waters stains in the hall way carpets and my bathroom looked from the 1990’s. For the money it’s not good value I’m afraid.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room could do with an upgrade especially the bathroom. There appears to have been some kind of leak on the carpet outside the lift which smelt foisty. Needs sorting out. Food was good

Excellent service in a lovely hotel
I found the hotel easily and there was plenty of parking. The reception member of staff was fantastic. Once she realised I was with my father- who was on a separate booking- she moved him next to me. She was also conscious of potential noise from an event and placed us accordingly. The breakfast staff were very helpful and explained clearly how to work the coffee machine. When it went off, we were offered coffee from the kitchen. The staff made us feel important and cared for.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the food is a little overpriced as are the drinks but its no issue as tyere are plenty shops like waitrose and aldi within walking distance and also bars and restaurants nearby. The bed was so comfortable we struggled to get out of bed both mornings and i suffer from a bad back. The staff couldnt do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble .Although the decoration and pool are a little dated it doesnt take away from a lovely hotel in beautiful grounds with really lovely staff. Thank you for a great stay .
