First of all, there was no remote and noticed the shower was filthy. The night clerk was very apologetic and gave me a remote and a bottle of disinfectant/bleach! The overnight clerk was exceptionally polite and very helpful. The morning of our event, I returned the non working remote to the morning clerk who fed me nothing but lies. She took the remote and wen it did not work for her, she grabbed another remote from the cabinet and told me all the remote needed was a battery. Wow, I’m a few days shy of 66 and I know it was a totally different remote. I also told her about the uncleanliness of the shower. She stated it was paint overspray which is totally false. Overspray paint would not budge with a general cleanser. I informed of the fact I know paint from filth! I asked to speak to a manager and she told me each clerk was essentially the manager and there wasn’t an owner. During the late evening, she told me she was as refunding $15 for having to clean and disinfect the shower! Wow! When I returned to the hotel, a man was standing blocking the parking spot closest to the stairwell. After about 15 to 20 seconds , I tapped the horn and tacitly gestured I need to park. You think that would think a fully grown man would move. After another minute or more, he strolls away without even a gesture of apology! Later I see this same man in the office with the night clerk. I assumed. he was the “non existent” manager/owner. I am in stroke recovery! Room 210 was a hike for me!
