Cozy West Coast House in the Middle of Nature - Fast WiFi and Sauna

Welcome to our own family cottage.

Top feature: wooden terrace, 90 M2. Please see pictures - it is really great :-) And also there's a small wooden terrace to the east, away from the winds from west. So there's plenty of outdoor space for enjoying the sun.

We hope to share the experience of our large but cozy cottage with you. It is situated in a private and sheltered location. Please send us any questions you might have. We use the cottage as much as possible ourselves but we want to share this wonderful place with others too.

Please note that a stay in our cottage is including electricity, water, and bed linen (and beds will be made before you arrive). These things are not normally included when renting cottages / houses on the Danish coast. There will be no additional fees connected to renting our house :-)

We can meet you at the cottage for handing over the key or we can leave the key for you in a key box - depending on when you are arriving and our own availability (as we live a good hour's drive from the cottage).

The cottage is only a one hour drive from Denmark's 2nd largest international airport in Billund - and Denmark is among the cheapest countries in Europe for car hire. You will need a car to get to the cottage - and you can easily park up to three cars there.

The cottage is the ideal place for an active and /or relaxing vacation for both kids and adults. You can rent bicycles to ride along the 'Vestkyststien' - a 45 km trail running through the dunes - only for walking or bicyckling. Our house is located by the middle of 'Vestkyststien'. There is also surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing etc. and especially Hvide Sande is a hub for water sport.

Our cottage is located only 500 meters from the sea and is close to the fjord too. You don’t have to cross any roads when you walk to the sea!

NEW 120 KM BICYCLE PATH ready from early Spring 2024: you will be able to ride a bicycle undisturbed by traffic all the way around Ringkøbing Fjord (or just pop down to Nymindegab or up to Søndervig). You will ride on a nice, smooth, dedicated bicycle path - kept away from traffic at all times. This is a huge investment by the local municipality in order to make the Ringkøbing Fjord area one of Europe's top cycling destinations! The new asphalt bicycle path starts approx 150 meters from the cottage.

The plot is 2400 m2.
There are large wooden terraces, garden furniture, sun beds and a gas grill.

There are four bedrooms. Two with decent sized single beds. One with a standard sized double bed (1,40 meters wide), and one with an extra large double bed (1,80 meters wide).

There is a sauna in connection to the bathroom.

In the living room, there is a wood stove if you want to get a cozy fire going. There’s also an AC unit capable of heating the entire house. In addition, each bedroom plus the bathroom also has electric heating panels.

There is free wireless high speed internet and satellite TV (with the free German channels).
