It is an unbeatable option for multiple families or large groups of friends visiting spectacular Jervis Bay. Please note - Bedroom 3 is configured with a king bed on the bottom level and two singles above - similar to an extra wide bunk bed - as seen in the image for that bedroom.

Where will I be?
Akora House at Hyams is located in a prime position on the main access road into Hyams Beach. It is a very short stroll to the café and to the white sand beaches in Hyams.

Akora House at Hyams is a large 2 storey home featuring two living areas, the top floor's east facing living space takes in the wide, blue Jervis Bay vistas and the north facing ground floor lounge room with fireplace enjoys bushland and garden views.
Akora House is well appointed, stylishly furnished and decorated. This perfect holiday home is well proportioned, with enough seating space for all to come together or spend time apart and is ideally located in the best possible Hyams Beach experience for up to 4 couples and 4 kids/singles.
How is the property laid out?
The downstairs level comprises a welcoming entrance foyer, laundry, a large north facing living/TV room with an impressive, designer wood burning fireplace and three bedrooms; one with stylish 4 poster king bed plus ensuite, another east facing king bedroom; the third featuring joined bunk beds to accommodate a king bed for the bottom guests with 2 singles above.
Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms; one with a queen bed, and the other with two single beds, and two bathrooms plus a separate toilet. A large open plan kitchen, dining and living area boasts spectacular views of Jervis Bay, with large glass doors opening onto the verandah.
Wi-Fi and streaming services - will I have them?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a backup plan.
This property has a smart TV in each living room. Please bring your own login details for streaming services.
What about outdoors?
Akora House at Hyams has a large grassed area at the rear of the property. Please be advised that this area is not fully fenced. There is also an outdoor breakfast bar on the upstairs balcony and a gas BBQ.
Keeping warm or keeping cool?
For heating, Akora House at Hyams is equipped with various electric heaters and the downstairs living room has a wood burning fireplace.
For cooling, all upstairs bedrooms have ceiling fans and a large modern ceiling fan in the upstairs living room ensures that the ocean breeze is circulated throughout the house. There are pedestal fans in 2 of the 3 downstairs bedrooms and living room, with the other king bedroom featuring remote controlled ceiling fan.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Akora House at Hyams supplies luxury linen and towels. Please however bring your favourite beach towel.
Parking for cars, boats etc.?
When entering the driveway from the road, parking is immediately on the left hand side of the driveway. Akora House parking for one car is available on the concrete area to the right of the wooden fence (house-facing side), and 2 more cars in front of the house. Please do not park on the grass to the left of the wooden fence as this space is allocated to Akora Cabin.
Important : The main concrete driveway entrance is a right of way to both Akora House and Akora Cabin and must be kept clear at all times.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Akora House at Hyams is pet friendly, subject to the following rules:
- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house.
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms (this is a not negotiable due to the high quality of furniture, in particular the sofas)
- If your dog will be inside during your stay please provide their bedding.
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately.
- Note that this property is not fully fenced and you are responsible for your pet.
- Please consider that not all guests bring dogs on holiday and we want everyone to enjoy a clean and fresh home.
- Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
Is there any special information that I should know about?
This property has undergone recent renovations, and at this time the only bathroom on the ground floor in the downstairs is the ensuite inside a king bedroom. However, upstairs there are 2 more bathrooms one with an internal toilet and one with a separate toilet.
