Lovely, but with some hickups!
One of the key reasons for booking this house was that there are 2 bathrooms listed. There is only 1 bathroom on the ground floor and a toilet with wash hand basin on the first floor. When escalated to the owner, we received a 10% refund… but this is a “plaster”, not a solution. The owner must change description of the property to reflect the reality.
Gas bottle for barbeque completely empty on arrival, same for salt/liquid for dishwasher.
Refrigerator, freezer and kitchen cabinets were full of owners food: nothing to do with the price we paid, it is just not OK that we as tenants do not have full access to use of freezer and fridge etc, and that we have to move around owners food stuff to make room for our own.
No microwave available although listed. No parasol for sun protection on terrace, however, the owner refunded the money when we bought one for the property.
Very limited wardrobe space and what was there had the owners clothes and shoes inside, which meant no real option to hang our clothes.
For the high cleaning fee, we were disappointed that the windows were quite dirty.
Considering the relatively high rental fee, we believe the above issues should be rectified to allow tenants full enjoyment of an otherwise lovely premises. A floor plan would also be useful to see the layout of the property.
