Central to Ilfracombe
Large hotel doing B&B at a reasonable price. Very central to Ilfracombe with easy walking to Tunnel Beaches and the Harbour. Very few parking facilities but Jubilee Gardens car park is close by - busy in summer. The room, facing the street, was in fact very quiet.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful the room was spacious slightly out dated but comfortable for a little break the bad thing was parking we had to find parking on street or car park nearby

Lovely little hotel. Although a little dated, the rooms were very modern and comfortable. Ideal location right on the front of Ilfracombe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Clean and friendly
We booked the same day on impulse for 2 nights but ended up staying 3. There is parking at £6 a night but only a few places. There is free on street parking further up the hill if you are fit. We didnt sample the food, but if you want breakfast its cheaper to book in advance. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a goid position for the beaches and harbour and tgere is a nice Wetherspoons just down the road

On arrival welcoming instructions were very abrupt, there is actually no parking at the hotel as advertised, all parking is on the street, only free at weekend. Walking upstairs you see worn carpets dirtiness and very old decore, some areas of water damage. In our room one chair was dirty and badly worn, window frame was wrapped and would not close properly. The floors are creaky and you can here them above and outside you room with people moving around. Decor in the room was poor. Bed was comfy, sheets and towels clean and fresh. Breakfast was reasonable.

Check in time at 3.00 pm is too late and my room wasn't even ready by then. They gave me another room which was absolutely filthy and when I complained, I was told to take it up with expedia.
