When I called The Drury Reservation line, I was told there was only 1 room left at the Shadeland Ave Indianapolis location charge would be much higher Thankfully I booked online with Expedia. I booked a room for much lower price. The person I spoke to on the Drury reservation line was not very helpful or respectful.

Very clean hotel
Our room was super hot. I turned off the thermostat at about 9pm and the room stayed very hot all night long. The room was very clean and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the free dinner and loved the pool.

I chose this hotel because of it's location and excellent reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The staff was friendly and attentive, which was great! The lobby was clean and well decorated. Unfortunately, it reeked of marijuana. I know that the hotel cannot control the habits of it's clientele, however, the odor was definitely unexpected and unwelcomed. The odor also extended into the elevators and our hallway. Our room was decorated well, however, there were a few things that could have used some attention. Overall, the room was clean, however, the couch appeared worn and the lamp shades were loose. The bathroom was the most disappointing aspect of the room. It didn't appear to be cleaned very well. The corners of the floor were dirty, and their were stains on the wall paper. They had tried to clean some of the stains, but they were still visible. The towels and bed sheets had a rough texture to them. I appreciate that they were cleaned and most likely bleached, but they were not soft and comfortable. The free hot breakfast was very good, and the attendants were friendly and helpful. If I return to this area in the future, I'm not certain if I would stay at this hotel again.

Convenient location for business travel. Plenty of parking. Slates love the Drury inn perks. Room was clean and in a safe part of the city. I will stay again.
