AREA:
Our log cabin is situated on paved backroad on 1/3 of a wooded acre in the town of Intervale. There are other mountain homes located on both sides of our log cabin, and behind us. All of our neighbors are very nice, and it is a quiet neighborhood!
Please note: You will be able to see cars driving on Dundee Road from the cabin, especially during busy weekends but you rarely can you hear any noise from inside the cabin.
There are woods in front, left side, and right side of our cabin. For the neighbors to the left and right, you can partially see their houses by looking through the trees in the spring/summer months which gives the our setting some privacy during these seasons. The neighbors home are more visible in winter months when the leaves have fallen off the trees....but it's generally too cold to be sitting outside during that time anyway.
Our cabin is close to many hiking trails, ski areas, shopping, dining, and mountain biking trails. It's a 30 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the river, where you can bring your camp chair and relax. Cranmore Mountain is only 5 miles away!

* 45 minutes to Cannon; 60 minutes to Loon.
* 30 minutes to Pinkham Notch & Crawford Notch; 45 minutes to Franconia Notch.
There are 2 Adirondack chairs located on the property to sit and relax. We also have 2 camp chairs that you are welcome to take to the river or your other favorite spot in the White Mountains!
We have personally seen black bears, deer, coyotes, hawks, moose, chipmunks, squirrels, foxes, and turkeys on our property. We hope you will be lucky enough to see them too!
GUEST ACCESS
Guests can use the entire cabin except for a locked bedroom that is used for owner storage and supplies. Guests are not permitted in the one locked bedroom.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Cozy Cabin: This is a cozy cabin, approximately 600 quare feet. It's not a tiny house, but it's also not a mansion. It's perfect for 2 people, business travelers, artists, writers, or solo adventurers.
AIr Conditioning: We have a portable air conditioner that is available for use from Spring through Fall. On super hot days it might struggle a little bit, but seems to do pretty good.
HOUSE RULES:
1. In order to get your booking approved, you will need to have a completed VRBO profile with verified email/phone/government ID, and profile picture showing your face. Minimum age to rent is 25 for the responsible party. Guests need to have 5 Star positive reviews on their VRBO profile in order to rent.
2. Parties are not allowed. House occupancy is limited to 2 people only (including infants/children). Driveway can accommodate 2 vehicles. If more than 2 people arrive at the cabin, the reservation will be cancelled without a refund.
3. Do not smoke or vape in the house. Please note that if the cleaners find evidence that smoking occurred in house, you agree to pay a $500 deep-cleaning charge as outlined in our rental agreement.
4. If you use the gas grill or gas fireplace, never leave it unattended. If you use the gas grill, please clean it after it has cooled off.
5. This cabin is listed as not suitable for children and infants.
6. Please do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper.
7. NO LIABILITY/INDEMNIFICATION/HOLD HARMLESS: The owners of the property do not assume liability for the loss, theft, damage or injury (or death) to persons or their personal property. Guests agree to indemnify and hold the owners harmless for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation which may arise out of or in connection with Guests’ use and occupancy of the rental property, including but not limited to claims for personal injury or property damage/loss.
8. Check-out is 10:00am Eastern time. Failure to check-out by this time may result in a monetary claim as outlined in our rental agreement as this could have a negative impact on the next guest if the cleaner does not have enough time to perform the cleaning.
9. This rental requires a rental agreement be reviewed, eSigned, and returned. If you would like to review the rental agreement prior to booking with VRBO, please send a booking inquiry and a copy will be sent to you for review. We reserve the right to cancel any Instant Booking where the guest refuses to eSign the rental agreement.
10. There is a security video camera at the front door of the cabin facing the entrance/driveway area. The sound recording is disabled, and the video recording is enabled.
11. Pets, dogs, cats, etc. are not allowed.
12. If a guest needs to leave their stay early, this will be considered a cancellation request (and not a modification request), and guest will be refunded the amount due per our cancellation policy that was in place at the time the reservation was made.
13. ATVs, dirt bikes, go carts, snowmobiles, off-road vehicles, etc. can not be driven on the property other than to get to and from the road from the driveway/parking area. Any damage done to the property from one of these vehicles will result in a damage claim against the guest as outlined in our rental agreement.
14. Candles, bonfires, and campfires are not permitted on the property.
15. If you have made it this far, thereby proving you've read all of our rules, please provide the following secret phrase "Checkout time is 10:00am" when you submit your reservation request.
