TANGARA STUDIO APARTMENT
Tangara Studio is a fully equipped studio apartment, with separate access, has a fresh and stylish finish with new floorboards, bathroom fittings, kitchenette and television and all the comfort creatures that makes the living and sleeping spaces comfortable and accommodating. There is an overhead fan.
Tangara includes a Queen size bedroom space with quality bedding. The queen size bed has an anti-allergy mattress protector, pillows with pillow protectors and fresh white cotton linen. Depending on the season there are different weighted Doona covers available. There is also towels, hand towels, bathmat and beach towels provided.
The studio space features a kitchenette with stone benches, a tiled splashback as well as a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender, toasted sandwich maker, plates, bowls, glassware, cutlery, utensils and more …. and tea and coffee making facilities, of course.
The kitchenette includes a tall cabinet with first aid kit, iron and ironing board, hand vac and cleaning products for your convenience. Also included are saucepans, baking trays and utensils for the BBQ and outdoor gas cooker, as well as tupperware and a Picnic kit for fun at the beach.
The bathroom includes a tiled step-in shower recess, a vanity, vanity mirror and toilet.
“Tangara” has a generous large covered all weather terrace area 6 x 3m outdoor space. There is a table to accommodate 4 people and a place to relax. The external cooking facilities include a small weber barbeque and gas cooker that can be used to BBQ or roast.
There are blackout blinds to ensure you can sleep in.
On arrival you will receive a welcome gift, but we are happy to provide a continental breakfast pack $25 or a charcuterie pack $30 that has enough cheese, meats and nibbles for two.
Available to our guests is access to fishing gear, bikes, a picnic set … and much more …. Just ask, if we have it … you can borrow it!
In addition, we also offer our guests washing facilities, ice and additional fridge/freezer space.
ABOUT THE AREA
“Tangara” is great for long weekends or summer escapes. Only 10 minutes’ walk to the stunning Inverloch surf beach where youcan grab a coffee or drink at the Surf Lifesaving club. The club has regular live entertainment over summer as do many of the regional pubs. Three Patches winery is just up the road with fabulous grazing platters or just around the corner the renowned Bluette on Bear café does delicious breaky and lunches.
There are numerous beautiful beaches in Inverloch perfect for swimming, surfing and paddleboarding; the surf beach if you want to ride the waves, whereas Main beach is a popular family spot with calmer waters.
There are two local pubs and more than a dozen cafes and restaurants which include all the holiday staples; great fish and chips, tasty Chinese and delicious Pizzas. The area is renown for its local produce. The Inverloch local produce market is on the third Saturday of the month and there is the Kongwak trash and treasure market is every Sunday. During summer there are additional markets on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
Inverloch offers an array of things to do and see, from beach, walks and bike rides, to the nature walks up to the Bluff. There’s the 2km Screw Creek nature walk which takes you through mangroves and grasslands, it begins near the caravan parl. The well-known George Bass 7km coastal walk taking in the clifftops from San Remo to Kilcunda. The Ayre Creek 3.4km walk is a great place for bird watching.
Inverloch is also known for its Dinosaur discoveries with over 20,000 Dinosaur fossils discovered around Inverloch in the last 40 years alone.
“Tangara” is located on Toorak Road, Inverloch that leads directly into town, if you are not wanting to drive there are buses to take you to the many cafes, restaurants, and great shops to enjoy or peruse.
Within the local region explore the wineries and cheese factories. Every weekend there is a nearby local market to explore. We are a short drive from Phillip Island and the infamous penguins. There are also many local Gippsland towns within a 20-minute drive including nearby Loch; home to the famous Loch Gin Distillery and footballer Max Gawn’s mother’s café or Korumburra; home to The Burra Brewery.
