Week in Scotland
The house was a perfect home-away-from home for our family of 6 adults! Everything we needed was provided, and made it easy for us to have meals at the house once we acquired some groceries from Aldi. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were perfect! Susan was a great help-stopping by one time to introduce herself, and even coming out to shovel the driveway on the morning it snowed! There were tons of historical sites within a short drive. And breakfast at the North Gateway Restaurant is an absolute must!

Wonderful stay at the Old Police House
Just about everything was as expected with our stay. The house itself had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were configured by Susan for the three adult couples in our group. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was complete with utensils, pots and pans, and a coffee maker. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a big TV. Plenty of outdoor seating. The distance to Inverness was perfect for us (about 13 minutes by car). The house was in a very quiet area, and we could easily get to the city to visit shops and restaurants. Susan was very responsive to our needs. We would definitely stay again for a future trip.

Wonderful Home
This may be the nicest VRBO home where we have stayed. Super clean and comfortable. The house seemed modern, but still retained the old world charm of the original building.

Lovingly Restored and Proudly Offered Home
Our stay in the Old Police House was a great experience. The lodging has been completely renovated into a quaint and comfortable home for a perfect vacation stay. There's even a Facebook page to visit to see the before and after photos and it's amazing. We loved the well equipped kitchen, the great water pressure and lovely hot water after a few cold walks, and the extremely comfortable beds and living room furniture. The home is a stone's throw from a major artery so it was very convenient for exploring the area but still remained a quiet refuge in a countryside setting. Our communication with the property manager was perfect from the very beginning of our booking inquiry. There's a lot of information provided about the house and the area and Susan was always available should we have questions or need local recommendations of things to see and do. We travel frequently and stay in vacation rentals often and The Old Police House has jumped to one of our top ten lodgings in the past 5 years. Highly recommend!

Wonderful House
The location of the Old Police House was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was a few minutes drive to several sights we wanted to visit. The house is in a quiet and pretty location. The interior is modern and comfortable. Our host Susan dropped by to introduce herself and see if we needed anything. Check in and checkout was easy. We wish we had more time to stay and would love to return in the future.

Spacious, lovely, 3 bed 3 bath house
This house was about 15 minutes from Inverness. It was quiet and well appointed. There is outdoor seating in the front and back yard. Plenty of parking. Two full bathrooms on first floor and one bedroom. Two bedrooms and one bath on the second floor. If someone can make it up a couple of stairs, this is a fantastic place It had a full laundry which was helpful since it was the end of our trip. The owner was kind and was willing to work with us when our driver got ill the last night. We were able to leave on time but she would have accommodated us, which took some stress off us. Overall, all four of us would love to stay here again.

Excellent Accommodations & Host - Highly Recommended in Daviot (East)
The Old Police House in Daviot (East), near Inverness is a lovely property, 3 King size beds, 2 bedrooms up with a shared bathroom with tub/shower, 1 bedroom main level, 2 bathrooms with showers on main level. Salt, pepper, and cooking oil in kitchen. Dog friendly (dog bed & bowls). Very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Perfect spot to stay in the country and explore the area, lots of golf courses, trails, scenic drives. Highly recommended by these two couples in their 60s who have traveled extensively and stayed in many holiday lets. This is one of the very best in which we have stayed! Make sure that you take the Daviot (East) exit from the highway.

Dream Trip
We had fabulous time at the Old Police house. Location was great. Easy access to Inverness, grocery stores, and all our favorite golf courses around Inverness while enjoying being slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of town. Property manager was awesome. Property was very clean, well appointed with all basic supplies and utensils, and extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property if visiting Inverness and particularly if planning to explore the many golf courses north and northeast of the city.

Lovely Highlands Stay
We enjoyed this property as it was close enough to everything and yet in the country. The hostess has gone to a lot of work and everything is spotless and looks new. She thought of everything that a guest might need or want- laundry detergent, dog paraphernalia for the dog lovers, extra adapters for our phones. She was friendly and suggested several places to eat and explore! Just the perfect stay!

Home from home just outside Inverness
This renovated cottage is just a 2 minute drive east of the A9 route, on the B9154 in Daviot heading towards Craggie. It's only a 15 minute drive into downtown Inverness and is well positioned for excursions to Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and pretty much all the surrounding area. With 3 large bedrooms, each with super king-sized beds (which can be split up to form 2 singles in each room if you prefer) and 3 well appointed bathrooms (good showers), this rental is ideal for a large family or a group of friends. There's plenty of parking on the driveway, excellent laundry facilities (with separate washer & dryer, and a drop down clothes hangar) and a mud room at the back. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room area is spacious. Owner Sue lives next door, is responsive and helpful with inquiries and obviously takes pride in this property. The website photos don't really do justice to this cottage: which was very clean, full of character and benefitted from excellent views across the River Nairn valley. This place was quite a find, offering way more value for money than anything we looked at in Inverness itself and the best vacation rental we've ever stayed at in the UK. What are you waiting for?
