We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Sonesta. It's a convienient location and well cared for resort. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the goregous beach where there are chairs set-up for the hotel guests just beyond the pool. I also checked out the spa and got a great massage. All of the staff were friendly and eager to help. We plan to come back and would highly recommend it!

Royal Sonesta San Juan PR did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Food and drinks at the poolside bar/restaurant was great!! Definitely would recommend staying here.

Hotel overall was decent. Did not appreciate the $50 extra “resort fee” charged per day that we were not aware of prior to booking through Expedia. Pool area is nice. Room is average. Our room key entry did not work and we had to try over 5 times to get someone to fix it. They ended up having to switch our rooms. The area had restaurants and places to eat right outside of the hotel.

This hotel is amazing, all the staff are pleasant and helpful. Shoutout to harvey at the bar in the swim up bar he makes amazing drinks. Love how everything was so clean. All areas was clean. Housekeeping was amazing. I have nothing negative to say hotel is 10 out of 10. Its walkableable, old san juan is not far or la playcita.

The pool and beach are beautiful! Loud construction during the week near the pool. We came for our honeymoon and we didn’t get any honeymoon experience such as champagne, room upgrade etc. Thursday and Friday the pool was PACKED with kids and were sitting at the swim up bar which then took 30 min to just get a drink with my husband. Overall 8/10

This is a great place for a 4-5 day stay. The food and drinks at the restaurants on the hotel are a bit pricey and getting stuff from the convenience store across the street is the way to go

The Hotel was amazing, the pool was within second of reach and just about another 20-30 seconds was the beach 😍, and f I had to say say thing it would be about the room I was in it had a smell which I went and got some air freshners which helped, but over all everything was great..

I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the late-night Restaurant and bar. The small bites we had at the swim up bar were great also. The drinks were good. Our room was clean with a nice view. I do wish there was a microwave in the room. I loved lounging by the pool and the fact that the beach was just steps away from the pool. Transportation to places always came quickly.
