Welcome to our cozy cabin, perfect for small families seeking a Yellowstone getaway!
If you share our love for the outdoors and log cabins, you're in for a treat. Inside, you'll find two brand new, ultra-comfortable queen beds and a lovely sleeper sofa for a restful night's sleep.
Step outside, and you'll be immersed in a forested wonderland, teeming with adventure. Whether you're into hiking, river floating, or exploring ATV/UTV trails, there's something here for everyone. We'll provide a handy trail map, or feel free to download it to your smart device for convenience. Don't miss the charming Johnny Sacks Cabin, a must-see tourist spot just a short 5-minute drive away.
Yellowstone is a mere 25-35 minute drive from here, offering hours of awe-inspiring sightseeing and wildlife observation.
Our cabin sits on a spacious acre lot, sharing the land with another charming cabin next door. Tucked away at the end of the road, surrounded by national forest, it's a wonderfully private space for you and your loved ones. The expansive back patio wraps around a significant portion of the cabin, with a cozy fire pit just below. Inside, you'll find a master bedroom with a new queen bed, dresser, closet, and a full bathroom. The loft boasts another comfy queen bed, a dresser, and a cozy sitting area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and even a 12-cup drip coffee maker. A convenient half bathroom and brand new washer and dryer are located on the main level. The living room, adorned with gleaming hardwood floors, features two brand new, super comfy leather chairs and a sofa sleeper that comfortably accommodates 2-3 guests.
Make the most of the great outdoors! Whether it's strolling down to the river, lounging on the deck, or gathering around the campfire, the natural beauty here is truly breathtaking. Most nights, the starry sky is a sight to behold.
Feel free to make yourselves at home in the entire cabin (or both, if both are booked). We're here for you, ready to assist via text or in person if needed. We provide our number for easy communication.
The river is just a short five-minute walk downhill, offering a refreshing spot to cool off or access from the boat launch. For a leisurely 20-minute float, you can start here and end up at Macks Inn a bit further down the river. We often spot moose during these floats, adding an extra touch of magic to your experience. For more local attractions, peruse the Chalet In The Forest welcome book on the cabin's table. Feel free to bring your own tube or kayak, or rent one in town—we can recommend some excellent options nearby.
You'll find ample space and parking for your vehicles (please note, we don't provide trailer hook-ups). When heading out on hikes, we advise carrying bear spray, water, and a camera for safety and unforgettable memories.
If you have some spare time, geocaching is a delightful activity to explore on your way to various destinations. Check out the free app online for a memorable experience.
During the summer season, we recommend a visit to West Yellowstone for shopping and delightful dining. Island Park also offers some fantastic eateries, and we'll happily share our favorite spots via a detailed email with helpful links (these resources are a true gem).
Please keep in mind that our cabin/chalet is one of two on the property, located side by side. While you may have some wonderful neighbors, rest assured that your stay remains private, with plenty of parking available. Our guests are always friendly and respectful, adding to the warm atmosphere. We can't wait to welcome you to this idyllic retreat!
