Rhodehouse Retreat! Your destination for Year Round Fun!

Our beautiful Island Park Cabin is located just above shot gun! We have set up a perfect circle drive and also provide enough room for ATV and trailer parking! We have a beautiful designed set up for large or small groups/families! We have 4 bedrooms and 3 additional queen size beds in the loft. 3 bathrooms/ 1 on each level. We hope to make your stay a little less stressful with a fully stocked kitchen! Washing machine and Dryer are provided. Enjoy a relaxing movie from one of our 3 flat screen TVs. Free and fast WiFi internet and long distance phone are provided! Enjoy a relaxing evening by the warm propane stove in the living room on those chilly evenings. A BBQ Grill and electric smoker with wood chips are available on the deck. With a beautiful and peaceful view off the deck it is a perfect place to relax. If in the mood try out the fire pit on those summer nights, throw some marshmallows on the fire sticks which are provided and then relax in the hot tub! We hope you will be up for some fun with our awesome game set up in the basement! Enjoy air hockey, skeet ball. And don't forget the fun playground area for kids located out the back. We are located close to ATV trails, hiking and fishing.
We hope to be able to share the beautiful scenery and experience of island park with others and hope you will love it just as much as our family!

After xmas family getaway

Our Family absolutely loved staying at this cabin! So much room for everyone. This cabin had everything we needed to make our stay so memorable and comfortable . Very clean and the kitchen had everything you could imagine. We will be back!

Island Park at its' best.

Amazing cabin
The cabin was amazing, amenities were great. We were 4 adults 2 children. They have a playroom with air hockey and other games, a playground, and a hot tub. The host was very accommodating , very easy to communicte with. Close to west yellowstone.

Best accommodations yet!
The property is fantastic, comfortable beds, clean, wilderness feel, not too close to neighbors, and had everything you would ever need. We saw more moose around the cabin than we did in Yellowstone. Eagle Ridge Ranch was recommended for horse back riding from Shane and they were great! Overall if we come back to Yellowstone we will be staying here again.

Perfect for our family vacation
We were very satisfied with the whole experience. The property listing was detailed and accurate. The booking process was easy and Shane always responded timely when we asked a question. Given the location, the peak time of the summer, the fact that there was lots of room for the eight of us and the amenities, the price was very fair. The cabin was very well furnished and stocked. Our grandkids loved the playground area, the backyard fire pit (for smores) and the game room. We drove up to Yellowstone every day but one and it was about a 40 minute drive. Although a little shorter drive would be nice we wouldn't give up all the positives that this property offers to save a few minutes driving time each day. We can definitely recommend Shane's property and if we head back that way we'd certainly try to stay there again. Thanks Shane

We came to visit Yellowstone and spend time with family. The Roadhouse Cabin gave us all the comforts of home. The amenities were great, comfortable beds for everyone including extra blankets and towels. So comfy! We loved our stay and even wished we could stay longer. 2022 Yellowstone/Rhodehouse Family Vacation
Our two week stay at Shaneā€™s Rhodehouse was near perfect! Your thoughtfulness provided everything we needed from comfy beds to firewood. That dining room table was the centerpiece of our evening gatherings. Everyone could spread out and enjoy dinner with a seat at the table. Thatā€™s precious family time. Being west of Yellowstone allowed us to go many different directions. Some took day trips to Idaho Falls and Rexburg, some to Jackson Hole and The Grand Tetons, others hiked, rode horses and kayaked. Spacious, well stocked cabin. Ample room for a party of 10 including 5 adults and 5 children aged 5-15. Nice playground for younger kids. Abundant wildlife in the area. Easy access to West Yellowstone entrance into park.

When Yellowstone closed
We were there in June when Yellowstone closed. The cabin is well stocked, spacious, and plenty to do indoors and outdoors! Even though we could not go to Yellowstone, we still had a great time and really enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Great place for kids and adults
We loved hanging in the game/playroom with skee-ball, basketball and air hockey. The fire pit is perfect. And the large dinner table was great for our group. A few missing pieces or scratched games made it hard to play corn hole or guitar hero but all the other fun made up for it. We absolutely loved seeing a baby skunk and fox outside the home. It was a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor fun.

Excellent Cabin & property
We had grandparents & our son & daughter inlaw with kids 3-9. The bedrooms were spacious & with a bathroom in the loft, first floor & downstairs it was easy to get everyone ready to head to Yellowstone. We had room for at least four more people & everyone had plenty of space. Loved having the kitchen & two laundry areas, & the kids especially liked the playground & hot tub. The location is perfect to go into West Yellowstone for shopping, dining & the Bear & Wolf Recovery Center, also the West park entrance. We saw our first moose near the cabin & four more in YNP & Grand Teton Park. Fully equipped, we only bought groceries when we cooked. Wifi & Streaming was good. Good communication with the owner. Five Stars ā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļø
