I just came back from Istanbul I don’t recommend this hotel it was very bad on costumer service no bed side phone I told them but they did not care no change of sheets no iron in the room smell bad inside room keys never worked very bad absolutely no 5star hotel maybe 3 but no 5 star

Its a central place where it's easy to walk around and shop and dine. Whike the staff were doing their best there were lots of room for improvement; for example you had to remind them every day to clean your room and still somedays they forgot. other stuff happened that your key did not work frequently

Too small room - great staff, especially Emre!
The Legacy Ottoman was great -- except for my "deluxe room with Bosphorous view with king-/twin bed." It had a Bosphorous view, but was cramped & small -- no king or twin beds -- just a double as I'm sure neither a King nor 2 twin beds would have fit. Due to its cramped size, the bathroom was super contorted -- the door was right up against the toilet, tiny vanity with no room for ANY toiletries. However, the staff was friendly, especially Emre! I am elderly, walk with a cane, had 2 bags, & the street in front was closed off to car traffic, so when I left, I had to walk 1 block to get a taxi. Emre brought my bags down & walked them to the corner where it took too many minutes before he could hail me a taxi. I hope his bosses commend him for leaving his post to help a disabled elderly woman on her way!!!

The property has a great location, but rooms need to be renovated, the carpet is so dirty that you can't even see the original colors. Same with the walls - dirty and ripped wallpaper around. The room I was staying in was outdated but I was charged as a five-star hotel.

The location of the Hotel is perfect, the architecture outside and inside the building is nice, the room I took was an executive suite with very good dimensions. The bad stuff now, the bet one is #3. 1- The personnel in the lobby… right. They discuss and laugh and make noise until 1 am in the morning enough to disturb your sleep. 2- The personnel again, the Check young guy is not good, not good boy, very slow, and not really welcoming. 3- The personnel in the Check out, the guy said sir wait for a second we have to check if you didn’t take anything before you are cleared, so I said, look i didn’t take anything and the Uber is waiting for me outside. He sais, yes i know but we have to check before we get you’re 100 Euro Deposited back. So he didn’t believe me when I said i didn’t take anything from the minibar, waited 5 minutes, and then I was cleared. Pathetic. 4- the room key, didn’t work twice in the same evening. 5- breakfast, definitely not a 5* Hotel breakfast, I really recommend not taking their 25$ breakfast, go outside there are plenty of good quiality restaurant all around the area of the hotel you will get local delicious stuff. 6- don’t take their 80 Euro Airport transportation, it is a legit authentic scam, take a Uber to the airport it will cost maximum 30 to 40 $ but not 80 Euros. That was is take care and be awesome people.

Good hotel, good location
Good hotel at a good location for shopping and the urban experience. Close to Bosphorus, plenty of eateries close by, the Bazar vibe. Upstairs good restaurant with a beautiful view. Hotel itself was nice, staff courteous and helpful. The reason I gave it a 4 not 5 was the unavalability and scarcity of elevators (lifts). With arthritic knees it is difficult for me to climb stairs, so this was a big problem for me waiting 15-20 mins for a elevator to stop on my floor. If you can climb stairs for multiple floors then no problem.

The sheet to put your feet up on the bed was dirty, the top of the desk table was dirty as well the restroom shower.

Great location
This hotel is located near some tourist attractions & many shops & restaurants. I enjoyed the hotel & its restaurant on site. The restaurant has a great view of the city. Would definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone. The staff is very attentive & helpful.
