Clean room and bathroom. 5 minute walk from Metro station and close to Taksim Square. You have to get a code to enter hotel- make sure to write it down or put it into cellphone notes. Code received day before trip started. Not a very touristy street and it was quiet.

It’s been a pleasure to stay in a hotel. It’s very convenient for shopping lovers and close to station. This hotel is near to Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and Grand bazaar and some local wholesalers. Highly recommended

I recently stayed at Mahya Hotel in Istanbul for 8 days and had an exceptional experience. The staff Ali, Tariq & Okan were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Ali was very understanding and offered me and my husband an upgrade to a family room as our A/C was not working. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a variety and the hotel's amenities such as reliable Wi-Fi, were excellent. I highly recommend Mahya Hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul! It was a walking distance to the main attractions and bazaars and you get a great feel of the local culture and day to day living life style. Highly recommend staying at Mahya Hotel!

The hotel is away from the centre and its associated attractions but in many ways this was a strength. The area was busy and noisy but I never felt unsafe even late at night. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my first visit to Istanbul. The hotel was also excellent value. Great complimentary breakfast and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I would stay again and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other travellers.

Very kind and helpful employees and receptionists! The breakfast is great and has a wide variety. They sometimes switch up breakfast items as well. The rooms were upgraded and modern, with really cool lock and cleaning request technology. Unfortunately there was a power outage on our street on our last day but thankfully there was still some emergency lights and water running. There are also ants that are common around the room on the floor even though we swapped to another room. They were very nice about our issue and switched us with no hesitation once there was an empty room. It wasn’t a huge issue and we managed to sleep comfortably.

Excellent, central location close to old town and places to visit. Staff very helpful and flexible when changing street facing room to quieter, side room. Help given in planning boat tour, including drop off, and on departure, booking Havist bus to airport. Would use hotel again as an excellent location with friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel stay was very pleasant. The staff were lovely especially Ali and the lady who provided breakfast (our away from home Mama). We had 2 rooms with no issues. Staff couldn't do enough to accommodate any requests we had. All in all a lovely stay and would recommend.
