Fantastic Hotel
We had a fantastic time at Pera Palace. Great staff, well-appointed and comfortable rooms, central location. Would highly recommend booking a treatment at their spa, as well as reserving a table for the afternoon tea at the lounge. We'll be back!

Great Location and historical hotel
The hotel is a historical monument. Beautiful building and interior. You'll find a lot of day visitors especially at reception and on the staircase leading to the rooms of Mustafa Kemal AtatĆ¼rk Our room was spacious, with a separate lounge and a bathroom with a free standing bath. We had some issues with the bath plug not working, the water kept draining away. Then the cold water tap wasn't working which was again fixed. I noticed that the bath and shower weren't being cleaned everyday which was disappointing. The room has tea and coffee making facilities and they leave complimentary water everyday. Breakfast was lovely. I had paid extra for a cooked breakfast but honestly that's not worth it and buffet breakfast is brilliant. The staff are excellent, especially the concierge and at reception. Location is great, walking distance to Istiklal caddessi and Galata port. We even managed to walk across the bridge to the spice bazaar. Overall I really enjoyed staying at the Pera Palace and would stay again.

I enjoyed the hotel thoroughly. The room is always clean and warm, the breakfast service is impeccable and the Orient Bar is a lovely place for a nightcap. The only thing i would change is the famous cocktail - Midnight at Pera Place ā€¦ i donā€™t think Johnny walker belongs in a cocktail but that might just be me!

Its a charming hotel famous hotel. Take extra effort to book spa , the receptionist has limited ability yo speak English. Dining staff are mostly nice except the younger ones (maybe they are new) are Front desk staff are nice, except the tea room area( the female one is super rude).

Most of the more modern hotels are located 40 minutes to one hour from the airport. This hotel is one of them in a very popular area with plenty of restaurant and entertainment options within blocks of the hotel. It also has a very elegant hotel bar frequented by literary icons of days past with luxurious seating and elegant furnishings. I enjoyed a very lovely old fashioned there, though prices are a bit steep given the area and local economy. I noticed my credit card was charged and refunded several times for this transaction, so that was a bit annoying. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and rainfall shower with plenty of warm water. Overall a nice stay.
