Overpriced and overrated
Hotel pretending to be 5 stars when in reality it can just about keep up with 2 by European standards. Place is dated and feels not like a B&B. New years evening celebration was very expensive although we got it for half price. Music overly loud and although the locals had lots of fun, the tourist left their tables as was unbearable. Food standard was poor. However staff are friendly, Hotel is very clean and in a perfect location for visiting all parts one must see on foot / ferry. Overall we had a good stay but didn’t meet our expectations at all.

Hospitable staff. Walking distance to so many sights. Spacious room. Rooms could be updated a little, especially the bathroom. Hot water issue occurred twice for the hotel in a 24 hour span, which was mainly inconvenient as the weather was cold and rainy.

They allowed us the check in early which was great because our flight arrived very early in the morning. The staff was helpful right through our stay. The breakfast at the restaurant was wonderful but I found it expensive at 25 Euros per person. It rained very heavily for almost 24 hours one day and caused the ceiling in our room to collapse! They moved us into another room right away. It’s a 15 minute (partially uphill) walk to the nearest public transportation. All the most visited tourist attractions are a 10-15 minute walk away. Located in an extremely touristy part of the city, but still very quiet.

My wife and I spent a week in Istanbul at the Seven Hills Hotel and Spa. This is a professionally run operation with excellent rooms and facilities and good feeling of security. Like many of the older, 'charming' hotels in Istanbul this venue has old electrics and plumbing. Both times that we had issues with electrics, the staff were cheerful and prompt in fixing the problem. highly recommended

Beautiful property, well maintained, the staff was really ice, the Porter took my bags all the way to my room, they even escort your bags outside the entrance of the hotel, as its a bit of a walk. I had some stuff that mut be frozen, and the porter stored it in the freezer until it was time for me to leave. Also, their spa facility is clean. I didn't have their breakfast cos I'm not a big eater, and at $38, I felt it was expensive for me. Location is good, but you have to order taxi thru the hotel for the airport.... cos no taxies frequent this area. BUT , the roos are comfortable, and the pillows are soft, I had a good night sleep here.

I enjoyed my stay at Seven Hills Palace. Rooms are spacious, clean and decorated in Turkish style. Really nice! Turkish spa included in the room price as daily 30 min self use. Location is good but a bit outside of the main area, 10-15 min walk. There was a construction so the area was a bit noisy and dusty. Staff is so helpful and friendly, especially Sedat from the front desk. He helped me with ordering taxi and general information about the area. I would stay there again.

If I were to comeback to Istanbul, this would be my first choice. About a 8-10 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet mosques/Sultanahmet train station. Great location, friendly staff, housekeeping is great, overall great experience.

Friendly staff and welcome, we enjoyed our stay here and the room was quiet, with a nice view and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, pool pretty but didn’t use as it was cold and raining while we were here.
