Absolutely fantastic service. I would like the thank the entire team at the Union Port Hotel for making my stay so comfortable and pleasurable. Not only where they lovely to be around and offering a great service, they had fantastic recommendations for the city and the surrounding areas. I would 100% stay there again. We booked here after looking at several reviews online. Wanting a quiet stay for a week in Instanbul, close to Taksim Square & public transport, this hotel did fit the bill. Upon arrival, the staff were amazing & accommodating. They gave us early check in & a room upgrade; however this was not in the actual hotel building you see in the pictures, but to a building approximately 50m round the corner. The rooms here are nothing like those in the pictures & there has been more than general wear & tear in these rooms. Gaps in the windows meant you could hear everything coming from the main road, damp in the bathroom & a poor standard of decor. You could have your room cleaned every day, but only if you left it unlocked as they only had one key. Staff were helpful, giving recommendations & ideas where to go. If the hotel was as good as its staff, it would be much better.

Awesome staff, great location
The room was a great value, updated and very comfortable. a great location, about a 10 minute walk to the cruise port. Sam was the most attentive customer service person one could hope for. He provided a welcome drink of coffee or tea, made sure we had a hot drink each morning suggested great locations and directions for sites and restaurants. When we left he walked us to the cruise port helping to carry our luggage! What great service!

I saw the reviews and this property exceeded my expectations, it was close to the port allowing easy acess to my cruise. I stayed here two days and the staff was amazing, Sam, Atik, Miriam and Jalek were all amazing. Your felt like honored family. Jalek also fixed my luggage previous to my departure. I would give it six stars if I could. Sam provided excellent service, took me to a taxi and arranged transport easily. Refreshments always available and again exceeded any expectation you might have. Area has many restaurants, shops and services nearby.
