I can’t praise this hotel enough. First there is hardly a better location for a tourist in all of Istanbul. It is THE closest hotel to Hagia Sophia (a place that gets huge lines in the day, but I strolled one minute from the hotel in the morning and had Hagia Sophia to myself). Breakfasts are excellent, and they are located on the top floor, with a spectacular view of Hagia Sophia on one side and the Bosphorus on the other. Ramazan (aka Rambo) will cook for you and charm you for every breakfast (something he’s been doing for 27 years). The rest of the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. My room was a little small, but I got a single, so it was everything I wanted, including a lovely, modern bathroom. They’re also good about arranging day trips that pick you up from the hotel (I went to Troy). All of this at a price that is very reasonable. It’s not often that I gush about a hotel, but this is the perfect choice for a first-time tourist visit to Istanbul.

Just amazing!
A beautiful boutique hotel with the wonderful and friendly staff at the desk and especially at the breakfast (Ramadan/aka Rambo). Great breakfast on the top floor and the hotel is within walking distance to everything! The rooms are too small, but that’s what you expect from an old and historic hotel. A busy area with some noise, but awesome views and we definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the stuff that made our stay enjoyable.

This hotel is a small, hidden gem. The location couldn’t get closer to several of the main sights. The service is extremely personable. Our room was cozy and clean. At breakfast, Rambo is so great! He’ll make you fresh eggs and make you feel so welcomed! Front desk staff is great!

Beatiful small hotel with a wonderful view from the top floor terrace breakfast restaurant. Great hospitable staff, especially Mr. Rambo, who eas hosting the breakfast. Very close to all major attractions. The only downside is the soze of rooms, quite small, but noyhing unusual for the old city.but

Smallish hotel with compact bedrooms but with fantastic staff and customer service …..the staff could not do enough for us and every single member of staff was absolutely delightful. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the main Istanbul tourist locations and just a few minutes from the boats that tour up and down the Bosporous. For a short stay in Istanbul the hotel is highly recommended.

Well situated and very close to the biggest Tourist attractions. AC did not work for the whole stay. Informed Hotel staff and were promissed a fix multiple times.

Felt well taken care of in a place that was our first time visiting. The staff was excellent & made us feel at home & guided us to places of interest. The room was a bit small, but we made it work. The breakfast was wonderful - authentic Turkish buffet - seating with a spectacular view of the city. Would visit again!!
