As instalações eram boas, porém, nos colocaram na suíte Paris que fica ao lado do lugar onde permitem os hóspedes fumarem e o quarto estava com cheiro muito forte de cigarro. Como se tivessem fumado dentro, isso logo na nossa chegada. Tentaram melhorar o cheiro com bom ar, mas a melhora passava dentro de minutos e o cheiro de cigarro voltava. Infelizmente, não nos transferiram de quarto e tivemos que ficar sentindo o cheiro forte de cigarro, apesar dos funcionários tentarem realizar uma "limpeza" do ar. Tirando esse fato, se tivéssemos conseguido mudar ou resolver esse problema, o hostel é bem aconchegante.

O staff é prestativo e o ambiente gostoso mas a limpeza do local peca demais. As mesas da cozinha estavam sujas todas as vezes em que estive lá. Todos os frascos de álcool em gel vazios e o banheiro era limpo apenas uma vez por dia. Considerando que é um ambiente compartilhado por muitas pessoas, esse é um aspecto que deveria ser melhor considerado.

O hostel é bonito, tem piscina, bar e uma cozinha grande e equipada. Porém, três pessoas fizeram o meu check-in e ninguém me comunicou que havia café da manhã (pago à parte). Só fiquei sabendo no dia seguinte, em que a mesa estava arrumada e cheia de coisas. Avisei à primeira moça só meu check-in sobre isso e ela me ignorou. Avisei à outra moça (que creio ser a dona do hostel) e também fui ignorada. Ou seja, atendimento ruim! Fiquei num quarto com 2 beliches. O quarto é super apertado! Difícil para 4 pessoas! Na última noite o ar não refrigerou, embora eu tivesse avisado à recepção, e quase morri de calor.

A estrutura é boa, com espaços para descanço e entrenimento. As camas têm tomadas, uma cortininha pra privacidade. A limpeza é boa, conforme o possível, afinal, em ambiente de praia sempre tem areia em algum lugar. Toda cama tem uma gaveta que pode ser trancada com cadeado, que pode ser alugado no hostel caso o hospede não leve. Ótima localização, a 10 minutos de caminhada do shopping, mercado, rodoviária e da praia central de Balneário. O café da manhã é muito bom. Os únicos momentos que senti desconforto foram pelo quarto em que fiquei ser ao lado da cozinha e ter uma mesa grande bem na janela, com isso os grupos que ficavam ali faziam muito barulho de manhã conversando e em alguns momentos me senti extremamente constrangido com alguns termos pejorativos e piadas envolvendo sexualidade. Acredito que o staff não deveria manter essa postura, afinal, é perceptível que eles não têm preconceitos, a postura é sempre igual com todos: amizade. Contudo, é desagradável ouvir brincadeiras que carregam ofensa.

Mal Atendimento do Dono e Música Caribenha Alta
Ao chegar à suite reservada verificamos que estava totalmente bagunçada, com toalhas usadas no banheiro, roupa de cama remexida na cama e lixos cheios. Avisamos na recepção e tivemos que esperar 30 min para que fosse arrumada, o que não foi um grande transtorno. Porém, ao voltarmos para o quarto o cheiro de bom-ar estava insuportável. Parece que tinham apertado uma lata inteira dentro do quarto e, o pior, os dois cobertores estavam muito molhados de bom-ar. Tivemos que trocá-los e deixar a porta aberta para amenizar o forte cheiro, mas até o último dia, dos 3 que passamos no Hostel, o odor persistia. Quanto ao som, por ficar ao lado da nossa suíte, quando estava alto até os copos vibravam em cima do frigobar. Normalmente começava meio-dia e ia até 23h. Como gostamos de sair a noite e ir à praia de dia, descansando no final da tarde e começo da noite, ficava impossível este repouso pelo volume, já que a caixa do som fica do outro lado da parede da suíte. Talvez não seja tão incômodo nos quartos coletivos, mas na nossa suíte, e na nova que estão construindo, ao lado da ala comum é impossível até conversar ou assistir um vídeo, mesmo com fones.Tão ou mais ruim quanto o barulho é o tipo de música: somente rumba, regueton, cumbia e demais ritmos latinos.
