The room was clean - you can tell the establishment is under renewal. The service desk person must have been the owner - he was there in the PM when we checked in - and there when we checked out in the AM. He even KNOCKED on the DOOR at 10 am to see if we were evacuating! He was quite a rude little dude. But - we were there for a concert at State Theater - so no matter. Just no tip - and we did little more than just sleep. We picked up our trash in one bag and left the ONE bath towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth we were allotted/used folded neatly on the toilet seat. Hodgie needs a break or to get laid.

They say Ithaca is known for gorges, but I didn’t expect to have a gorge in my bed. The mattress had a huge sink hole in the middle that made sleeping very uncomfortable. There also seemed to be a lot of loitering in the parking lot that made me feel a little uneasy leaving my car parked there.

The motel is very old and needs major renovations. It was also extremely noisy with some guests having TV on all night. Staff members are nice and do their best but overall this motels needs some major work. The price to quality ratio was ridiculous

While I understand this is an economy hotel I would NOT recommend staying here. Rates are way too high for what you get. First off they do not answer the phone at all. I tried to call in advance 3 different times and no one at the front desk answers the phone. Our room was dirty, the floors were sticky and there were two gross (I think old blood stains on the bed sheets), the shower had someone else’s hair in the top corner, clearly they don’t clean the rooms properly and need to get a new laundry company. For $100 a night it’s ridiculous. Look at other options in the area.

I would never recommend this place. Room was not clean, hair all over floors, weird stains on furniture walls etc, leaves inside the ac unit in the room, cigarette burns on the comforter. No soap give o and the body wash container empty. Spoke to property about issues and did not help. Motel is also right next to a road and traffic very loud.

Hotel is convenient to many things whether you are driving or want to take a walk. Restaurants and shopping are all close by, and the selection is great. Ithaca is a college town, so there is some traffic at times, but nothing major. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. I think they could put a little more effort into the included breakfast as the options were bagels, cereal and a cereal bar along with a drink selection. But the bagels were fresh!

Great location, but subpar room. I understand it is super 8 and a cheaper hotel, but the absolute worst part was the bed. I booked a room that was advertised to have a queen bed, however the one I got was barely a double. It was quite uncomfortable and the pillows were actually half the size of standard pillows. Breakfast was provided, although limited options but no complaints there since it is a cheaper stay and I did not have high expectations. The staff were friendly but did not seem quite familiar with what they were doing. Services and amenities also very limited and of poor quality but that's also understandable. Overall the bummer was the falsely advertised bed size and the pillows, everything else could have been overlooked otherwise.
