Belhaven townhouse in Jackson.
We loved the home. The location was great and our host Shanara, was available and went the extra mile to make our stay one to remember. I would love to rent from her again.

Pleasant Experience
The photos of the townhouse were accurate. It was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It was conveniently located to everything you would need to do in Clinton. The owner was easy to reach and responded immediately to questions. The only improvements I would suggest would be to fix the leaking faucet in the bath tub and tighten the fixtures. I would recommend this property to friends and be willing to book again, if needed.

HVAC broken, Poor response from hosts.
Upon arrival in the sketchy neighborhood next to a train track, the door was stuck & my hubs had to bodyslam it to get it open after unlocked. TheAC & fans were turned off, it was >88 degrees inside. The AC would not turn on, the HVAC unit outside did not come on either. Texted with 2 hosts, 1 didn’t answer, one was very slow to respond and suggested I have “frozen the AC system up” -it never came ON! 40 minutes later, in the steaming hot unit, we packed up again & went to a hotel. Never heard back from the host.

There were bugs and spider crawling around on the floors. The ceiling fans did s work. And the bathroom electrical sockets didn’t work. There no washer or dryer as advertised. The backyard had poison Ivey. Not a pleasant stay.

This place was in a nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. And presented exactly as shown online. There was a YMCA about a 5 minute walk around the corner to take the kiddos and plenty of food places. I would definitely be coming again.

Terrible experience
Never received an email the week of nor check in day. Emailed numerous times they the Vrbo site and reservation messaging ,with no response. Found her on Facebook and instant messaged her/owner . No response until 6and half hours after checkin time. She stated she would refund me full amount of the payment ,it’s been 2 days and still haven’t been refunded. Never stayed in her unit, as we had to get a hotel @9:30 at night .

Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Don’t let the size of the building fool you. There is plenty of room! Located in a well established neighborhood. Loved the openness of the living area and kitchen. Huge TV, perfect for watching the games. Minutes from Mississippi College!
