We arrived early and the hotel were very inflexible about permitting an early check in despite the hotel not being very busy. Communication was difficult as reception staff did not speak English and there appeared to be no management on site. When finally allowed to enter the room discovered that the shower taps were broken. Could not be fixed so had to move to another room that was not the same as the one booked several months in advance. Safe in the new room did not work and attempts to fix it and replace it with another failed leaving us without a safe.Purchases at the bar/restaurant could not be charged to the room and had to be paid each time used.
Restaurant closed at 6.00pm without notice and without a car there was no alternative resaurant nearby.
Room was not cleaned and replacement towels had to be requested from reception.
I am sorry with the poor review as the location and facilities are very good and the young staff tried hard to resolve issues, even though there was a distinct absence of management. The appearenace of the hotel was marred by the numerous signs around the hotel on most walls stating what could and could not be done.
