The staff was very friendly and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast was so delicious. Tje only negative is that there is no food besides breakfast. The hotel will order delivery if their guests want food.

From the first interaction with Steven in reception (complimentary glass of wine upon arrival), to their willingness to help. I had a race and was not able to take advantage of their buffet breakfast, however the kitchen was kind enough to prepare me a plate of food that was amazing upon my return back to the hotel. Rooms were spacious and loved the balcony and kitchen option. Kitchen was equipped, but lacked some basic things like towels for hot pans and a strainer for pasta. It had just one induction disc which makes cooking tough as they don't get that hot. Its functional, but don't expect to do an elaborate meal.

The pool was fantastic. Water pressure in the shower was great. The rooms could use updated paint and decor. Our slider door to the patio/deck didn’t slide open/closed easily and the lock didn't work well. The room locks/keys should also be updated - did not feel super secure. Mattresses were hard. Walls are paper-thin - we could clearly hear everything our neighbors were talking about. It was fine for our one-night stay, but I wouldn’t stay longer than that.

As other reviews mentioned, the hotel looks completely different than advertised online. Tons of insects, sheets dirty with stains, walls with blood stains from mosquitos being killed.

The staff was amazing. It is a small boutique hotel. UBER is available. Jacó is about 8 min away. I recommend spending 2 days in Manuel Antonio.
