This cabin is well-appointed (kitchen, bath, shower/tub, one bedroom, plus a bed in the loft, linens, modern full-size refrigerator with water and ice, glass-top stove/oven, old-style coffee pot, coffee grinder, slow cooker, instant pot, toaster oven, blender, pots, pans, plates glasses, utensils, washer/dryer combo, Wi-Fi, fire pit, picnic tables, fenced in backyard).
The owner, Brenda, is very nice. We had a few chats over the 2 days. We unintentionally arrived a little early and she was very accomodating.
We stayed a couple of nights with our 2 dogs. The cabin was very clean and a good size for us.
A few things to note:
- It's in the Central Time zone - near ET
- Great area to hike or ride horses
- Essentially, there's little to no cell service in the area, especially Verizon
- AC/Heat - controlled by a remote
- No TV
- No cabin door to the backyard, other than a doggie door. You enter the yard through the outside gate
- It has a gas grill, but we didn't use it, as it was not listed, so we didn't plan to grill
- It also has a hot tub, but couldn't tell if it worked. Again, it wasn't listed, so we didn't plan for it
- Could use a coffee table and/or small kitchen table--it just has a couple of end tables
- Nicely secluded, but seems very safe. Other small cabins are closer to the main road
- Address gets you to the road. You need to drive to the end of the gravel road and the cabin is on the right, just before the private property signs
A good place to stay
