The two-storied lodge is situated on the “Main Street” of Twain Harte, in the thick of all things. Far enough from the highway, it is a very quiet place after the last pub closes. Rooms are average size, with all the standard equipment.

I’ll be honest we were hesitant but it was the sweetest small town motel. Clean & friendly. It’s not new but it’s clean and tidy and we will definitely be back!

Twain Harte never disappoints and this is the second time I've stayed at Wildwood. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The rooms were nice and the area was quiet. Good dining options close by. Parking was easy and safe.

Totally decent motel, walking distance to Twain Harte businesses (including restaurant options). Not fancy, but absolutely fine. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Nice inexpensive basic motel
We arrived at 7:30pm and was able to check in by phone, key to room was left for us as promised. Room was no frills but tidy. Enjoyed walking to a very GOOD and inexpensive steak house literally a block away. There was no access to the use of the gated pool and spa which was a bit disappointing but the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The price was inexpensive for a night in a EXTREMELY quaint Moutain town. I would love to come back in the winter.
