The hotel appeared to be in the middle of renovation (or they started renovation and gave up). The check-in counter did not have a countertop, just rough plywood. The door to our room was pulled away from the top hinge. So we had to yank hard to pull the door open - then crank it up by the handle and pull to get it to close it. Otherwise - the room was clean and the staff was nice.

The hotel staff were all extremely helpful, friendly, and kind, no problems at all with check-in and our room was very clean and very comfortable. Quiet room on a quiet floor, which was exactly what we wanted. We asked for extra towels at the desk and got them with no issues. My only suggestion/complaint was that the entire hotel had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke, even in our room, which was non-smoking. It was especially strong in the lobby and in our room. I’m not sure if a previous occupant smoked in our room, if we were given a smoking room by accident, or if it was just people smoking in rooms around us, but it was strong enough that I still smell it on our belongings. I would suggest getting rid of smoking rooms altogether, better clustering them away from the non-smoking rooms, or a better ventilation system. Not sure why it was so strong in the rest of the hotel but the lobby was particularly perfuse with it. We would like to stay here again when we come back in November, but I’d like to not smell like cigarette smoke afterward. Otherwise, very pleased with the stay.

Clean and modern,
I was so pleasantly surprised by this property, because it is difficult to find a nice room for under $100. It was clear there was some construction still happening in the lobby, but our room was clean, spacious, and well-kept. Just what I needed for an unplanned quick trip to Binghamton.

Looks nothing like the pictures. The tub was backed up, couldn’t shower without having your dirty Water up to mid calves. Disgusting. Outlets had broken covers was afraid to plug anything in. Toilet was clogged and they tried to hand me a plunger. Very poor stay. Never stay there again.

No dresser for clothes; Water pressure/flow very low; no waste basket in room; Hair dryer plug incompatible with bathroom outlet.; Had to unplug desk to plug in coffee maker; A single bottle of water was $2.50 (should be around a $1). Terrible breakfast (eggs under-cooked; long wait for sausage container re-fill; only apples as a fruit; Coffee was awful; no Danish only English muffins and bagels; no bacon. Overall value was poor (paid over $114/nt). Wasn't what we expected!
