Beautiful Inn. It was very quiet and relaxing. Nice pool area with two fire pits. Restaurant and bar on site was nice also. The area is very walkable but unfortunately most of the shops and dining options were closed and had not yet reopened for the season I don’t think. Highly recommend the Green Mtn Inn

Old isn’t always good
The best part of the stay in Stowe was leaving this hotel. First, it is old and it smells very old and second, the mattress and pillows are old too. Not a great combo. Also, we always bring our Roku stick to watch our programs and they REFUSED to give us the remote for their Samsung TVs. This is the first hotel to ever do this to us! They said they don’t have the Samsung remotes that came with the TVs anymore (Really? They throw out 100 remotes? Please!). The actual housekeeper understood what I needed but the front desk and head of housekeeping acted like they lost the knowledge of the English language. I was pleasant in describing my needs, but they truly didn’t care. I showed them the spare HDMI port on the back of the TV and said I just need the Samsung remote to access it, but got nothing. So, if you do bring your Roku or Firestick with you when traveling , I suggest you find a different place to stay in Stowe. Also, bring Lysol to mask the musty smell.
