Staff great, some areas are a bit worn looking. The bathroom had mold and some reddish pink substance on the ceiling. It appeased someone had cleaned the red areas but it maybe stained.

Rated cleanliness lower because there was 2-inches of water in the tub that house cleaning missed. I’ve never had that in 50 years of traveling. Otherwise a good place. I have stated here several as l times over the past 13 years. Will likely defy again.

The stay was good, but when I checked out the best western charged my credit card again for the one night stay when I clearly had paid for it thru hotels.com. Still waiting to hear back from the manager from the best western to get a credit back for the over charge.

Hot tub wasn’t working. Pool was cold (suppose to be heated) was told this was just remodeled. When I brought up the issue it was not addressed or fixed. The day I left I explained all the issues we had. I was told that “Well the pool and hot tub are working now.” (I was there 3 days and they were not working everyday I was there) My second room looked like housekeeping didn’t clean it before check in. Nothing done about that issue. So stay really wasn’t great but it could have been worse.

The room was not cleaned well. There was food remains smeared on the base of a bed and hair in the bathroom. The sound of trains will disrupt light sleepers and the town of Laurel seems to be not much except casinos.
