Was going to be petty and dock them a star because we got one of the worst rooms (216: half a mile from the lifts with expansive views of the hotel car park) and the toilet seats are so hot it hurts to sit too long, but I couldn't bring myself to do it because: 1. The breakfast buffet is amazing 2. The staff are impeccable 3. They have an inexpensive coin laundry Would also recommend taking a day trip to Shirokawago village in the mountains (we used the white Ring Bus company: https://ars-whitering.linktivity.io).

The rooms were spotless and spacious, especially compared to other places we stayed. The location was ideal, with several attractions within walking distance, including the fish market and a nearby mall. We also tried a few local restaurants, including a memorable Spanish tapas place, though I can’t recall the name. Out of the six hotels we visited, this one was definitely a favorite, and I highly recommend it.
