This was a nice hotel and I would book again if in the area. The bed had only one thin blanket and no extra in the room. The person available at the desk brought a couple of small blankets right away.

I am so disturbed by the excessive fees at hotels. Im traveling across country. Hotel cost plus 100 dollar deposit I wont see returned to me for 3 to 5 days means hundreds of dollars of mine are tied up for the industy's profit! I am going to sleep at Loves truck stops when avaiable. The bathrooms at Luvs are just as clean.

Location is great, restaurant/pub 54 is within walking distance and week with a try. Fantastic food. Rooms we're beat up a bit, had to have maintenance cone right away to work on air, but was fixed. It just needs fresh carpet and paint. Carpet was dirty.

We were in town for a concert at the Starlight theater & it was our first stay at a Best Western. I always worry about the neighborhood around the hotels but this was in a nice, quiet, corner area - closer to a neighborhood feel. It was off the main roads but only a quick drive to get on the hwy. The grounds were well-lit, clean & felt very safe. Very pleasant. The front desk staff at check in was absolutely wonderful! (I forgot to get his name but just excellent, excellent customer service. He was very friendly, courteous, professional & personable. It’s so nice to actually feel welcomed to a business when the face of their business offers flawless customer service. The room was clean, updated. I just wanted a budget friendly room for the night after the concert & the quality was exceptional for the price. The pool room was so clean & bright, lots of windows & quite large, much nicer than many of the more expensive places we’ve stayed. My daughter is starting to start traveling on her own or with friends & I would feel comfortable with her staying here alone. We normally skip the breakfast but they had some seasoned breakfast potatoes & the rest was enjoyable also. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I flew into Kansas City for a few days to do some ballpark chasing. Staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfy and clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. I loved that they put a bed topper on to provide more cushion. I don’t normally sleep well in hotel beds but I slept so good here! In a great location, next to quite a few food and shopping places but not congested with traffic at all. Would stay here again next time we’re in the area!
