One of two rooms got cancelled
So we booked two rooms. They canceled one because they over booked. We booked a month from stay and they didn’t let us know until the day of arrival at 5:15 pm. Staff was friendly but totally unethical in my opinion. If I canceled room at 5:15 pm they would charge me. So I was expecting a free stay with the other room and they couldn’t do that.

They charge an extra deposit for 3rd party bookings (not in the fine print via Expedia) and said it gets refunded as a credit to your booking party account not your card in the even of no damages. Maybe I’m being a brat but last minute add on charges don’t make my day and neither does the idea of being forced to take another trip or two before I’m rewarded with my good guest behavior credit. The facility is nice and clean but the neighborhood is sketchy. It’s not worth coming back but it’s whatever when you’re just ready for bed in the middle of traveling.

Once check-in was near completion, the issue of an additional "$100 cash deposit" suddenly becomes required at the desk only. No mention of this while reserving online. Furhtermore, it seems this "requirement" may be based on how the desk staff feels that day.

it was a nice hotel staff was friendly. Our room had two queen beds and a sofa, the sofa was very stained, I would not sit in it. We had my sisters grandson visiting in the room running around in his socks soon the bottom of them were very dark....yuk
